Back when I was just discovering that the Internet had other uses than flash games I somehow managed to end up here. As Final Fantasy really meant a lot to me then, and strictly speaking still does, I imagine I must have been looking for more information about the games when I stumbled upon what would become my first forum.

Following my discovery I frequently spent my time on here until I gradually – over the years – stopped coming. I doubt any of you would remember me by my old name so you'd be hard pressed to say I left any impression on the place, but I can easily admit that the place left an impressionon me as I'll still occasionally, while riding the bus or doing something similarly mundane, have these recollections of things I've experienced on here. For example this bizarre episode where four individuals each registered an account with the name of a ninja turtle and acted like their respective one, or this guy I used to RP with that just suddenly one day announced that he was never coming back and just disappeared.

Not too long ago I decided to re-register thinking it would be fun to rejoin the community. This was probably caused by the fact that I was playing Persona 4 which for obvious reasons reminded me of the period of my life that I had spent on here. Looking back on what I wrote only a couple of months ago I'm kind of ashamed. At one point I'm talking about Proust and Pokémon at the same time, and I just generally seem to be very full of myself. For all I know I might still sound, or even be, full of myself, unknowingly, but I still believe I've grown quite a bit since then. Anyways, I got busy soon after, and as a consequence had to shelve Persona 4 as well as this place.

So the other day it suddenly hit me that I was going to have a lot of free time on my hands the next couple of weeks and decided to pick Persona 4 up again. And well, here I am. I don't really have a habit of doing introductions on forums, but the idea is that I'm kind of comitting myself to the forum by writing this so I won't disappear again so quickly.

As for myself in general I am 17 years old, from Norway, I like long walks on the beach and I prefer my video games with unfair amounts of cutscenes as well as my women mentally unstable. When I grow up, I'm going to be a writer.

I never played Persona 4 or any of the other games in the series(if there are other games in the series... The number sort of hints that there are. ), so your obvious reasons are not so obvious to me.

Well it's nice that you decided to come back after your disappearance! I hope that you decide to stick around and do a bit of posting as well. I also hope that you have fun doing so.

Welcome back to TFF. I remember when I registered back in 2002 (oh god) I didn't really become active or worth noting until 2003 (some would argue that that notability never happened, but now I can ban those people). So I can relate to this story of yours. Hope you start to feel at home here.

Some place inside I knew someone would react. Even while I was writing it. It's really like that with me and English. If I manage to formulate myself in what I find to be a particulary cool way, I'll let the communication suffer so I'll feel good about myself. But why am I excusing myself? Maybe because it's a thread about me. Anyway. The game reminds me of back then because it has these moments where you get somewhere with the plot, the music goes all dramarama, and there's like seven people fumbling behind you and even though only a few of them are involved with the conversation at hand, you know what each and everyone is thinking because they're all your digital friends.

And rawr, OceanEyes.

And uh, everyone else, thanks for all the warm welcomes. To show my appreciation, I've drawn you all something in Microsoft Paint which I have attached to this post. I hope you like it. It's either a windmill or a flower. I haven't decided yet.
