Okies, sorry I have been out of the loop for so long but life and duty calls I'm afeared. It seems that I haven't had much time for gaming lately. I'm making another run through FFVII and picking up all the goodies I didn't in the other 6 times through the game. I'm really trying to be more active in my posting here in the club and in the other forums and threads, but alas, life is a cruel mistress.

Good news though, looks like tonite I'll be back in the saddle with VII and in the next couple of weeks I'll be getting a refurb psII since mine is dying fast. Then I'm gonna get the last of my old school stuff and head to town. Anyway nice to see you all again!

I started FFIV:Advance the other day, and I've been playing Civ III for the past couple days. (I already packed up my PS2, so none there.) The Civilization games are awesome -- I just wish I could find a copy of Civ II that worked on this computer. It might be because it needed DOS or something, I can't remember. I also have a bunch of Command & Conquer games, I might start them up sometime. But not tonight. I have to get to bed soon, because I need to get up at 02 to drive to Wausau at 0330 to pick up donuts and be at the Drill Center at 05 to be on the bus to go to SRC ... I'll be back Wednesday night though, maybe Thursday. I'll pick my Civ III back up then.

HOT DAMN! That was the most fun I've had with a final boss fight ever. It wasan't hard, but fun and satisfying, I can't recall beating a game with that much *fun* for a final boss. It's what I liked about the first KH too. Not so much fun, just satisfying.

Now I'm not sure WHAT to play. KoF XI is still a good month away :(

One of the main things to remember about our little Cult here too, if your not a member, you have no voice or opinion in this thread.. the only real reason an outsider has to post in here is to request joining us. Otherwise they'll be shot with Mario Fireballs :D which I actually think would be a damn COOL thing to see actually.

Hooked up with a cheap Sims 2 + University expansion when I got pizzas 2 days back. $35 it came to, considering its still $60-80 in stores (Uni is $40 on its own) I found this to be a bucking fargain! and you guessed it, I made FFIV families lol.

I still wanna make some little family and exclusively burn them to the ground, did it all the time on the original.. XD

My friend had a SIMS game and he tortured the sims he created. He'd build a house, and would block off the exits, and then have them get angry because they couldn't go to the bathroom.

He mentioned one time he put a bunch of sims in a room, and all of them were big, burly black guys, with one scrawny white guy as the bitch. It was too funny. It makes me want to get the game, just so I can mess around with them. :D

I've always wondered about getting The Sims. I'm a bit of a miser (aren't we all?) so I really don't like shelling out a lot of money for one game. I imagine the original is much cheaper now, although I could probably still buy the second. Escapism, nothing quite like it.

With any luck, we won't fall victim to the Clubs forum curse. Inactivity, that is. Mind you, I'm always falling victim to that curse. :D

CP: As I mentioned about a week ago, I've been playing the Prince of Persia series. I recently finished the Two Thrones, and I can't say that I was disappointed. Definitely some interesting new additions to the combat system, such as stealth kills. The Dark Prince is pretty damned cool, too. I love the banter between him and the Prince as well. The voice actors have done a fine job.

I know we've all had banners and avatars in the past representing the club, but I think we need something a little different this time.

DAWEZY! We need to make a house full of Cult members. And then, we need to figure out something for all of them to do. And make a video of it. And then integrate dialogue boxes into the video.

I need to get some Sims games, they look pretty cool. I've never actually played, but I've seen 'em played. And I already packed up my damn PS2, so I'd have to get one for the computer ... what are the best ones for PC?

I think I'm gonna finish up that Civ III game tonight. The only problem with it is that it's difficult to use IMs while you're playing.

I keep hearing about sims, but I thought it was a kiddie game. Personally I want to get X-men 3. I think that will be an awesome game. Lots of killing. I like killing^^. I have stopped playing FF7 now. My add set in, and i am thristy for new blood.Which is the main reason I never get through it in one sitting.

I've never tried the Sims myself...

I got the chick respectnig my dumb descisions instead. I liked turning into a wolf though. I am now cp: castlevania symphony of the night on my computer.

I started another file on the origional KOTOR a few days ago and have been thrashing it at a pretty good pace (compared to my usual sloth like pace anyways). I haven't decided on an alignment path for this chatacter yet. I've yet to go down the good road, granted, but the evil is just so tempting.

The one in my profile is from two and a half years ago, that's one of the most recent I have. It'll work.

I still haven't worked on my Civ III game again yet, but since we're not going fishing now (it's raining, dammit!), I'll probably start that up again.

For some reason, neither of my drives will play it. I have to put the disk in my secondary drive to start it up, then right before it starts the game it'll tell me it can't read the disk, so I put it in the primary drive and play. But I can't start out with it in the main drive, because it'll just whirr and whirr instead of loading it up.
