...really? I mean, it seems like Forza Motorsport is the only good racing title the XBox has going for it. Maybe it's just the online appeal that makes me crave it, but I didn't plan on buying the box just for that game anyway.

Not much at all when it comes to games for me over the past few days. Oops.

Forza isn't bad per se, I'm just tired of all the commercials. "BETTER THAN GRAN TURISMO 4!" Pfft, right, and my ass looks like a Mithra's. >.>

And while it may be the best simulation style racer on the Xbox, it's not the best racer, IMO. Project Gotham Racing 2 was a damned good racer. And it had Xbox Live capability too. That being said, Forza does have damage, but the whole 'I built this car' just isn't there like they were saying in the ads. It's a typical simulator, purchase car, purchase upgrades. It just so happens that they included body kits and stuff, which GT hasn't so far. Well, GT2 did, sort of, but anyway. >.>

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now I've modified Medieval total war so I can play as the Golden Horde and go on barbarian rampage through Europe (the pope shall soon taste my steel).

Man I need to get a copy of the Lost Vikings, I miss that game. What could be more fun than running around an alien spacecraft as a Directionally challeged Norseman? (well other than sex)

Uhm. Hi. Doing my usual drop in saying I'm alive and stuff.
So yeah, there it is. I don't really know what to say nowadays. There really isn't a specific topic that I can think of.

All I can really say, is that all your mothers are hamsters, and that your fathers smelt like elderberries.
One time, I built a castle in a swamp, and it sank in the swamp. I built another castle, that one sank too. I built a third castle, and that one, it caught fire, crumbled, and then sank into the swamp. But the fourth castle, that stays strong.

Hahahaha, I love the Lost Vikings and I'm gonna play that game until I'm too old to hold a controller. You forgot to add how fun it is the hit aliens with your sword.

    Good to see ya Scorp but on another note can announce the following;

    Today is my 22nd Birthday

And tonight I plan to drink my liver into submission, so I want you all to cheer me on. XD Booyah, and the past week or so have been good for me aswell.. since I've gotten my shiny new SEGA Saturn working with a handfull of games -> In particular I been thrashing Command and Conquer quite alot. Considering I have both C&C and the Covert Operations expansion for the PC, but it don't work on Windows XP >< fucking thing, heh.

I normally discourage people from giving me gifts, because I don't really want anything, the money could be spent on beer or lottery tickets or something instead.. but what do I wake up to this morning? a Jim Bean quilt cover, lmao. It looks pretty fucking cool on the bed I should take a photo of it. But speaking of the fabled Jim, I should rock down to the local liquor store and buy me a flask for tonight
    SPOILER!!:

heh, happy birthday there Dawes. To 22 years of sin, and more to come
good to see that you are alive as well scorp, lol.

I am on my third file in KOTOR2 atm. It's taking up the largest percent of my time...not that I don't mind. This time, I'm going evil sith lord all the way, heh. I may even start a fourth character and be bold enough not to use a lightsaber...swchaa!

Exams are coming up in a weeks time, so that will take a bit of my time up for the next to weeks or so. So in case you're wondering, I'm still alive...never thought I'd have to make a post like that XD.

I really need to play Lost Vikings, but i'm too lazy to go find a ROM, and there's no way in hell i'm finding a working copy for my SNES anywhere around here. Hell, maybe i'll look around the 'net sometime later tonight.

And i'm still trying to save up enough cash to buy FFXI... don't worry, i'll get it eventually. And then I will be running around the world of Vana'diel, annoying everyone with my overwhelming n00bishness towards MMORPGs.

Oh, and Dawezy, make sure you drink a beer for me, alright? But seriously, though, get out there and get wasted. Hell yeah.

And just so I can use it one more time:

Had a good night on that of my 22nd birthday.

If I recall, my bottle of White Heather (Whiskey, 40%/vol) was down by about 1/2 of its complete volume of 700 ml. The combination of Whiskey and Cola made my time of slumber 4:30am, and the following time of waking up I felt like I was reborn every single time I get on the piss I feel refreshed the next morn. It cleans my system of all the crap that has built up all over my body, woot!.

I've been thrashing my Saturn quite alot, and messing around with my newly installed title which is; Medal of Honor - Pacific Assault. That damned raid on Pearl Harbour was a bitch with all those fucking Japs bombing the shit out of the ship you just happen to be shooting off.

Needless to say, I'll have my hands full for entertainment over the coming weeks. I've also been keen to go purchase GTA:SA since it was just released on the 14th down here in Auz.
    SPOILER!!:

I agree the 80s theme in Vice City kicked ass and some good 80s Thrash Metal blasting while playing it makes it even better.

You wan't old school? Alright, given the choice between Donky Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country 2 which would you choose? I've been called a heretic many times for picking 2 over 1. I like the corny pirate theme in DKC 2, it bring back memories of chasing neighborhood kids with a plastic cutlass after playing it,

Yeah, no shit. What the hell is wrong with you guys?!

I got ZRO hooked up with some hacking tools (despite them being for the wrong game, heh) because he was inspired by Cain's FF6T game. Can't say that I blame him though, because I was inspired by his FF6T game as well. Good shit, that one is.

Absolutely zero news on the gaming front for me. My aunt is REALLY pushing this whole "go outside and be active so that your back is stronger" scharade. It must not occur to her that everything I do now won't mean jack shit after next month, because once they cut into me, I'm out for weeks on end. I'm so ****ing miserable, you guys have no idea.

Yeah, I tried to get the tools that Cain used, and LC gave me the wrong ones. He gave me the Hackster tools for the original FF1. ^^; May still prove to be fun at a later date, but I'm wanting to tinker with FFIV at the moment, lol. And ehh...old school...old school...I'm playing Ninja Gaiden too? No, wait, that's not really old school, it's just based in old school. Thought I still need to beat the original...I was one ****ing stab away from killing the last damn boss in the first Ninja Gaiden, then I got killed and it sent back to the beginning of the whole damned stage. Pissed me off so bad I've never had the patience to go through all of it again. Never did get to play the second or third ones. But damn, this one for the X-crate, holy shit is it ever harder than I thought it would be.

Heh, old school gaming for me isn't going that well at the moment. I was planning to play the latest Ys game (which is pretty much a new release, old school game), but I dedicated myself to beating Shining Tears first and it is pissing the hell out of me. There is nothing worse than half an hour of playing through an annoyingly difficult level and then dieing at the boss and having to restart the whole thing again. God damn. So until I become less frustrated with that, Im going to continue my kotor high. I have now restarted the first game, heh. Is 2003 oldschool?

No, you're not a heretic, but the original DKC is still better, mostly because 1) it wasn't as cartoony and 2) you could actually play as Donkey Kong. Now, if you were saying that DKC3 was better, I would have to destroy you. It was good, sure, but far inferior to the first two.

Speaking of which, i'm playing through DKC's two-player team mode right now with my little brother, teaching him the ways of the old-school platformers. It's pretty fun.
