Who do you resemble the most in your family, be it appearance or personality wise?

Apparently, personality wise I'm just like my late grandfather, according to most of my family and relatives that is. I have his sense of humor, and we share same interest in civil engineering and drawing. We even have same vision deficiency, although that kinda runs in my family. I am flattered to be honest, my grandfather used to be a great man.

I look a lot like my dad. We have the same features, and he said he started out stick thin (like me) but he put on a lot of weight in his mid 20's, which won't be too far away for me which is worrying lol.

I get my love for cars, engineering, and tinkering from my grandfather on my mothers side, or it could be from her grandfather. She has a lot of family, coming from farming folk so it's easy to get them all mixed up lol. My mum told me about how he'd always be tinkering with cars and motorbikes (which would have been a lot more simpler back then) and one time he painted my mum's first car two-tone blue and brown while she was away. I'm sure that would have been a nice surprise to come home to

Also i'm named after my great-grandfather on my dad's side, who was a gunner on a Lancaster Bomber in World War Two. Sadly his plane was shot down so I never got the meet the man, and I don't think there's any photos of him either. Would have loved to have been able to talk to him about it.

Personality wise, I am not like my family. Looks, I am a blend between my father and my mother I'm told. I don't remember my father though so I can't say for sure. I have the family nose on my mothers side that my mother doesn't have.

I look exactly like my mother. By exactly I mean EXACTLY. I once stumbled upon a photo of my mother when she was about 16-18. I was around that age when I found it and if it had been in a better quality I would've wondered if that's me on the photo. Of course there are some details which differ, but if you don't look closely, you could possibly mistake me for my mother (when she was younger). And my mother on the other hand looks like her mother, which means I also look like my grandmother. (Have seen some old photos, I'm pretty sure I'm a mixture of my mother & grandmother xD)
As for my personality - I'm much like my father (which is weird, as I always liked my mother more and in puberty I didn't want to become like my father...).

I don't look like my immediate family. Somehow, people would assume me and my brother were twins when we were younger, but I've always thought we couldn't be less alike. I see myself in a few of my grandmother's earlier pictures, back in the 50's. She has one photograph of her mother too, and I look a little like my great grandmother I suppose. I really don't take after my mother or father, but I have his eyes and his curls (but a lighter colouring).

Personality wise, I've got the best and the worst from both my parents. My dad is really easy going, isn't argumentative, but his attention jumps from one thing to the other very quickly. My mum doesn't really let things go, and will stress over something, sometimes leading to a full blown argument, but she's organised and on top of everything - she always has a Plan B. I'm all of the above.

Out of everyone in my family I look most like my brother. We don't really share any facial characteristics of our parents or grandparents.

Though I do have a lot of my fathers same characteristics (non facial) such as balding in a certain spot, getting really dry callousy feet, among other things.

i dont really look much like my mum or dad, got my mums eyes/eyebrows lol. and i really sound like her sometimes, which is abit disconcerting...especially when im telling my own kid off lol. i get mistaken for her on the phone as well. I think I'm just an even mix of both parentals rather than mostly like one or the other, my kid looks like me, but then will pull a certain face and look like her dad... poor kid.

I look a lot like my maternal grandfather when he was my age. I have a photo of him circa early 1940s and there are some definite similarities. There's a lot of common areas like chin and bone structure, plus we have similar noses and eyes.

If you were to ask my dad, I'm his mother (my gigimaw) all over again. Same red hair, same hard headed & stubborn personality, and to creep it out majorly, same big boobs.

I'm cool with it though. I never knew my gigimaw that well, and I more closely relate to my dad in terms of how we act and how we view things, but whatever.

I have red hair like my gigimaw and that's like the only thing that's ever mattered to my parents lol. I'm not allowed to ever cut it.

With being adopted, I have no idea who I look like ha ha ha.

However our daughter looks a lot like me. I found a picture of myself as a child and I could've sworn it was Claire barring my brown hair and her blonde. It was freaky! And nice, since I've always wondered what a family resemblance felt like.
