So I know I'm not active on here at all anymore. You know, life and stuffs. But I was scrolling through the new posts (188 new, as I haven't been on in quite a while!) and I come across a thread that I replied on. And noticed my join date. October, 2002.

Where the hell did time go? I find it at times weird to be a part (but not really) of this board for almost 14 years? What? WHAT??? And even as I'm typing this, I'm resisting the urge to go back and check, because SURELY this is wrong. Its WRONG. There's NO WAY it has been (in October) 14 years.

And yet, I've met super cool people that I still keep in touch on FB with. And other super cool people that I don't because I just can't do Twitter

Anyhoo, not even sure the point of this post. Other than damn. I've since got married, had a kiddo, adulted. Watched fellow TTF'ers do the same. Seems weird to think back to when I did the search of Final Fantasy Forums, such a different time. Aaaand now I sound old lol.

Loaf, for me it was here first. Then TFF went down for like 3 weeks and then came SU. Then back here.

Time does indeed fly. I'll have been here for 3 years next month.

I haven't been here long, but a -ton- has changed for me in the last 5 or 6 years. Went through a really rough breakup, found someone new & moved in with him & back to Tennessee.
Then lost my mom, followed by my aunt, and moved to NYC.

And now I'm engaged, we're in the process of upgrading our little Mazda 3 to a BMW x5 (I'm absolutely dying right now- there's a chance this will happen on Thursday- fingers crossed y'all!). Actually a fairly big deal for me.. I've never bought a car with a significant other before. I mean. It'll be in his name & he -is- the one paying for it, but yeah. Y'all get it. Oh and as of now, we're planning on getting preggo in the Fall!

Also, my little girl turned 8 years old yesterday and I'm not gonna lie- I'm fairly heartbroken xD.. Chirrenz. They grow way too fast.

As far as life goes it is good and shitty for me right now. Was recently let go from my job and can't find another to save my ****ing life. But on the good side my girlfriend and myself have a kid on the way. So life could be worse haha.

I'm not sure if time actually flies. I think time itself is completely relative, and it really depends on a number of factors. If you're watching the second hand on a clock at rest, and then compare it to another person's equally accurate clock, but change certain factors such as gravitational mass, one clock may appear to move slightly faster than the other.

Did you know that clocks on earth run slightly faster than clocks on the international space station? There could be many factors that could influence this, but the obvious one is gravity. Perhaps being pulled in orbit by the earth's gravity causes a bit of time dilation in space. It's not by much, but it's certainly observable. Since gravity bends spacetime, sometimes time can appear to go by much quicker or slower than at other times.

My 'woah' moment is that I'm turning 27 this year. I generally forget my age, and by the time I realize how old I am again, I'm just like, "What? How did this happen?" Then continue living blissfully unaware anyway. ^-^

I'm coming up to eight years here. I've changed a lot and probably done some growing up too, although nowhere quite near the marriage and kids stuff yet. Ew.

It's great to see so many people stick around on a forum for so long. It's like being in classes and seeing everyone else all grow up around you.

This will be 15 years in April for me. I turn 30 in August. I've literally spent half my life with some of you people. I've spent all of my major life happenings here, fake TFF girlfriends, real crazy and/or shitty girlfriends, mad internet drama yo, 9/11 and the killing of bin laden, everything from high school, college and beyond. Everything from the deeply personal and soul crushing to the not so shitty. It's been here. You should all feel so lucky.

The craziest thing is that I remember so much of everything, especially the small moments over the summers. Shit, I remember sneaking beers from my dad and hopping on AIM chat, to getting full on loaded with Rocky and Meier, and getting banned

Almost 7 years now. I only came here to improve my English and to discuss, well, what this site used to be all about, Final Fantasy. I never ever would have thought I would be invested in this site and its members as much.

I've been a member here for 5 years, but have been super absent for a year or two now. I used to spend all my time online and now I've gotten all snobby and just ignore everyone now, not really, just I don't know my online switch turned off and hasn't really turned back on, I've been living in the real world more I suppose, I do miss my most dear online friends though. I also wouldn't have made the big changes I made if I never joined so thank you TFF my life is actually better because of this forum and the people I grew to love here! I originally joined because I couldn't for the life of me defeat Barthandelus in Final Fantasy XIII.
