What's in your Inventory?

If I was in a video game and I had to bring some inventory items the things I would bring would be like a sidearm weapon, extra clothing, food, smokes (I don't smoke, but you never know when you would need it) and gil (hey I need money to feed my belly). I think that would be it, nothing else needed.

Daedric longsword, bow and arrows from Oblivion, all enchanted to do fire damage. That's all I need to start a massacre. Also, a nuke or two. Why not?
On a practical level, food and drink of some sort. And a few dozen lockpicks...
...muhaha.

Most of my RFI gear, Bulletproof Flak Vest, M-16 and Nine Mil, 6 magazines all filled, Camel Back with water, Pizza Hut pizza for the HP, camera, psp, iPod w/headphones, and my Monster Drinks to fill my MP.

Now why don't I do this FF-style? Hmmm...

My Laptop Computer: I have Microsoft Paint! I can do anything!!!
My 230 GB Hard Drive: Now I can pick up items and store 'em in there! That's a lot of memory!
My Cell-Phone: No need to be communications-lost.
Watch: Need to tell the time.
iPod: So I don't kill anyone (I NEED MY MUSIC...)
I can basically conjure up anything else with my laptop (It's a game, remember?) Maybe I'll paint up some magical powers. I'd like to feel a Cure on my self. I wonder how it feels...

Well my list:

• Some sort of really hi-tech and complex cellphone/PDA (iPhone, Blackberry, ect.).
  Because you always need one of these, especially in this sort of more futuristic games. You can do everything on those things. Check weather. Hack computers. Give a robot the command to make you coffee. They are incredibly useful.
  
  
• Some sort of really crappy, durable cellphone
  Because sometimes you just want to make a phone call. This is the backup to the hi-tech cellphone, because, inevitably, every Hi-tech cellphone you own will be destroyed at some point in the journey. And this piece of crap HAPPENS to be waterproof and ran over by a vehicle already (with no damage of course), but sadly won't tell you the exact weather in seconds.
  
  
• Lock-Picking Kit
  In your game, you don't want random doors to be locked. It's annoying. It's tedious. It's making your money flow go down. However doesn't work for mystical barriers of any sort. Don't hack or try to take down mystical barriers. It never goes good for the player. Just do the stupid mundane task the spirits want you to do. It's way easier that way.
  
  
• An All Purpose Tool of any Sort
  Leathermans. Swiss Army Knives. Whatever. They are really handy tools. It chills in your pocket. You can do any sort of repair work with it. Crappy cellphones. Cars. Intergalactic Spaceships.
  
  
• Anti-Theft devices
  Just think of how many modern videogame problems would be prevented with these handy devices? Would have helped Mario. Would have helped Cloud (on more than one occasion). Now, its yours. Put one on the sacred Jewel of your village. Put one on every one of your weapons. Put some on those artifacts that give you outstanding magical powers. Put one on the Princess and/or Leading Lady. A whole magnitude of problems solved.
  
  
• a modded MacBook Pro with Window's Ultimate Edition and Linux installed, preferably black with an Aircard
  Any well trained computer nerd can use this to its maximum. Complete with every great operating system in the book, this baby won't get the killer viruses that Windows based computers get. Amazing 24/7 internet access, a plethora of hacking programs and of course Photoshop.
  
  
• Teddy Bear
  Hell you need some comfort during your day, and everybody knows Teddy Bears are ALWAYS more than they appear.
  
  
• A Contraception Kit
  Sex is important to every journey. Be prepared. Don't have the devil child that will bring DOOMSDAY to all. Don't catch some STD that causes you to be a mindless zombie from that Boss you just needed to get information from. Play it safe. Comes with magical condoms, a year supply of birth control, a locking chasity belt for that slut you can't keep track of in your party, and estrogen shots for that cocky son-of-a-bitch who hits on every single female he sees (villianesses included).
  
  
• An SMG
  So in retrospect, guns as a general rule deal as much damage as swords, knives and Melee attacks do, but they are ranged. Great for those pesky villians who are to goddamn far away. Limited ammunition though, so make sure you don't leave without:
  
  
• Crowbar
  Multiuse, multifunction blunt object that no only does well in battle, but opens those stupid doors when, even though you have the key or picked the lock, still manage to be jammed. And once you manage to open the door to a guard, housewife, or shopkeeper, use it to give a well placed blow to the head.
  
  
• Drug Box+
  Don't ever leave home without it. Journey takes a lot out of people and gets boring and mundane, so why not enhance it? I mean how do we never manage to see the boring parts in the videogame? Comes complete with a pound of "Healing Herbs", a vile of "Mystery Fluid", "Cactus fruit", 4 cartons of cigarettes, "Potions", a vile of "magic dust", some tufts of "Phoenix Down[ers]", an echo "screen", Eye Drops, "Energy Crystal[rocks]" and many, many, more. Liquor and beer included.
  
  
• Zippo Kit
  Lets face it. Not all of use can create fire from our hands and if you can, you don't want to do that in a small town, large building, or enchanted forest, where, conveniently your powers get out of control, and send all inhabitants to a fiery inferno. A Zippo is a small, nice alternative. It lights your cigs without worries, starts that fire without trouble, and even looks badass. Comes with replaceable wicks, flint, and fluid.

Hmm what would I bring with me..

Probably my cell phone/laptop, so I could save my progress as I'm going out to save the world. I'm sure every so often my dad will call me to "keep an eye out for the bad guys!" [/corny Earthbound allusion] I can also use my cellphone as an indicator of a boss battle/large dungeon coming up, because you know you're waist deep in trouble when you have no reception an the area.

As for equipment, I can't leave without bringing my favorite Jamaican flatbill hat, as I get a +4 apperance along with a +2 to my defense along with it's "rare" property status. It's no full-plated helm, but it works. Also, I need to bring my hooded zipper sweatshirts, since they can be used a lot for their versality (+6 defense, plus +2-8 apperance depending on brand) as well as their defensive properties and the style; you have to look good if you want to have a shot at saving the world. Any style of blue jeans will do, I'm not too picky on that, but for shoes, I'll have to steal my brother's favorite pair of sneakers (+2 def, +12 apperance, gives +4 to the "run" ability); no one can catch me if I have the white Nikes on! Oh, and my Kanye West shades (+0 defense, +9 apperance) will be a must too, since they color coordinate with the Nikes.

My wallet will play a very important role in my quest, as I can use my debit card to make cash withdraws/deposits. As long as I keep beating up those spiteful crows and new age retro hippies, my dad will keep putting money in my account. Not only that, I have my lucky $500 Jamaican bill in there, which give me uncanny luck in almost every situation.

Next for weapons, I don't have a lot to choose from at my house unfortunately, but I will have to go with my brother's aluminum baseball bat. The way I figure, if Ness can save the world with a baseball bat, so can I.

a few backs of gum will come in handy, along with my ipod and some beef jerky and ZEBRA CAKES! As long as I have a pack of zebra cakes on me, I should be able to pull off some pretty spectacular plays to save the world. And if the going gets tough, I can whip out my obscenely huge college Chemistry book and make some crazy bomb to blow up a bunch of stuff. The only problem is it takes like 4 spots in my limited inventory... :(
