Got over my fear of driving last October cuz I got a job at a hipster punk rock tshirt distribution center lol
...My ultimate fear is to have my consciousness crushed under white noise, however, I did not realize it at the time. As a person with a sense of pitch that is utterly flawless (it is not bragging it is a complaint), I am so sensitive to dissonance and random noise coming in all the time that I have never been able to reliably and easily go to sleep in my whole life.
... O_O This is probably why I love classical music to be honest

My fears of claustrophobia were only reinforced when I pulled a guy out of a trench box maybe 10 seconds before an excavator fell into the trench and the bucket would have exploded him.
Very similar setup to this. Ironically the box is supposed to prevent cave-ins from the sides. It does nothing for a head on excavator fall-in.
