    MIKKO

    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: Finnish
    Finnish form of MICHAEL
    MICHAEL

    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: English, German, Czech, Biblical

    Pronounced: MIE-kul [key]
From the Hebrew name מִיכָאֵל (Mika'el) which meant "who is like God?". This is the name of one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies, and thus is considered the patron saint of soldiers. This was also the name of nine Byzantine emperors and a czar of Russia. Other more modern bearers of this name include the 19th-century chemist/physicist Michael Faraday and basketball player Michael Jordan.
There was first name. Now second.

    ANTERO

    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: Finnish
    Finnish form of ANDREW
    ANDREW

    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: English, Biblical

    Pronounced: AN-droo [key]
From the Greek name Ανδρεας (Andreas), which derives from ανηρ (aner) "man" (genitive ανδρος (andros) "of a man"). In the New Testament the apostle Andrew was the brother of the apostle Simon Peter. According to legend he was crucified on an X-shaped cross, and he is the patron saint of Scotland, Russia, and Greece. This was also the name of kings of Hungary.
And there, info about my first and second name.

[/b]Bryan[/b] is a first name of Irish origin. The name Bryan is a variation of the original Irish name Brian (with the same pronunciation), and is a very common first name in Ireland as well as many English speaking countries.

The name Bryan is of Celtic origin and its meaning may be "hill" or "strong, noble, and high." There is no strong evidence regarding any potential origin, only conjecture, although the Gaelic word "brígh"/"brìgh" ("context", "elixir", "essence", "interpretation", "meaning", "pith", "significance") offer a possible root. Bryan means a matter strength and honor.

My name is Josh. It's of Hebrew origin and apparently is popular, funny cause I've barely met anyone with the name before. It means to be a savior apparently. Joshua carried out Moses' orders from God when he died and pretty much that's it. I don't mind my name, I like it as long as I'm not called Joshua which annoys me very much.

I don't want to say my full name but I'll convert my full name to what it means in Arabian.I have my reasons why I don't want to say my name. One of it is it's too long and too hard to say.

Here's what my full name means in arabian.

    Holy Brave Warrior

It's too damn funny when you read it but it's kinda weird for me though. Most of my friends just kept laughing ever since they heard it.What's so wrong having a name that means "Holy Brave Warrior" ? But still I'm happy with having it.

    .... Go on,keep laughing..

My name is Joseph and it has a Hebrew background and it means 'God Will Increase'.

That sounds cool but not many people actually refer to me as Joseph, most people call me Joe.

My name is Chaitanya. Its Aryan/early sanskrit in origin. It means 'life force' literally. Its the thing that is common to all life forms and indeed all matter that keeps the universe going. Its a fairly complex concept but it was actually proven that something like this exists.. though i find it funny that it was bought up by my birth religion.

chaitanya: (Sanskrit) "Spirit, consciousness, especially higher consciousness; Supreme Being."
I'd have to say.. i agree

I never posted in this thread so forgive me as I bump this shit.

    My name:

    Brandon Wade Zachary.

Brandon meaning "swift sword" (a nice name for a state fencing champion) I actually didn't find out it's proper meaning until one of my fencing partners remarked about it. I looked it up and found that she was very much correct.

Wade meaning...to uh...wade...y'know...like across a river or something... It was my father's middle name and my great grandfather's first given name. And if I ever have a son his middle name shall be wade as well. My great grandfather is a legendary figure in my family.

Zachary means "The one God remembers" We've always had it. Always knew what it was. My mother's maiden name is Alderson but she left it for Zachary. People always remark that I have two first names. But I never really noticed. Zachary will always be a last name for me.

What does my name mean… well, um, apparently it was some hoax back in 2001 featuring a website selling human meat and ways to cook it. Yum! Now though, my name has something to do with some pornography company or other. Figures

My name however actually refers to my beefy and over-sized manhood

Edit: Ooops, you mean't my real name huh? Well... guess I messed that one up. Heh. Maybe later...

Well, my name's actually spelled differently from this, but it's basically the same name.
    [gotten from http://www.behindthename.com]
    SHANNON
    Gender: Feminine & Masculine

    Usage: English

    Pronounced: SHAN-un

From the name of the Shannon River, the longest river in Ireland. It is composed of the Gaelic elements sean "old, wise" and abhann "river".

Mine is actually spelled Shanin, not the Shannon [my parent's are just freaking weird.]

My middle name is a form of "Christine" [Christee, again. Parents are weirdos.]

    CHRISTINE
    Gender: Feminine

    Usage: French, English, German, Scandinavian

    Pronounced: krees-TEEN (French), kris-TEEN (English), kris-TEE-nu (German)

French form and English, German and Scandinavian variant of CHRISTINA

    Last name:

    DUNCAN
    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: Scottish, English

    Pronounced: DUN-kan

Anglicized form of the Gaelic name Donnchadh which means "brown warrior", derived from Gaelic donn "brown" and cath "warrior". This was the name of two kings of Scotland, including the one who was featured in Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth'.

Huh...Funny that it shows what my lineage is. Just goes to show that I DO have Scandinavian blood in me...yay for the Vikings.

    But yeah. That's me.

    You entered: Ann

There are 3 letters in your name.
Those 3 letters total to 11
There are 1 vowels and 2 consonants in your name.

    What your first name means:
Russian Female Variant of Hebrew Hannah. Favor. Grace.
    Irish Male Priceless.
Hebrew Female Variant of Hannah: Favour or grace. God has favoured me. Prayer.
German Male Name of a king.
    English Male Merciful.
English Female A variant of Hannah introduced to Britain in the 13th century, made popular in the 14th century by the cult of St Anne. The form of the name varies with fashion:.
    Anglo-Saxon Male Graceful.

    Your number is: 11

The characteristics of #11 are: High spiritual plane, intuitive, illumination, idealist, a dreamer.

The expression or destiny for #11:
Your Expression number is 11. The number 11 is the first of the master numbers. It is associated with idealistic concepts and rather spiritual issues. Accordingly, it is a number with potentials that are somewhat more difficult to live up to. You have the capacity to be inspirational, and the ability to lead merely by your own example. An inborn inner strength and awareness can make you an excellent teacher, social worker, philosopher, or advisor. No matter what area of work you pursue, you are very aware and sensitive to the highest sense of your environment. Your intuition is very strong; in fact, many psychic people and those involved in occult studies have the number 11 expression. You possess a good mind with keen analytical ability. Because of this you can probably succeed in most lines of work, however, you will do better and be happier outside of the business world. Oddly enough, even here you generally succeed, owing to your often original and unusual approach. Nonetheless, you are more content working with your ideals, rather than dollars and cents.

The positive aspect of the number 11 expression is an always idealistic attitude. Your thinking is long term, and you are able to grasp the far-reaching effects of actions and plans. You are disappointed by the shortsighted views of many of your contemporaries. You are deeply concerned and supportive of art, music, or of beauty in any form.

The negative attitudes associated with the number 11 expression include a continuous sense of nervous tension; you may be too sensitive and temperamental. You tend to dream a lot and may be more of a dreamer than a doer. Fantasy and reality sometimes become intermingled and you are sometimes very impractical. You tend to want to spread the illumination of your knowledge to others irrespective of their desire or need.

Your Soul Urge number is: 1

A Soul Urge number of 1 means:
Your Soul Urge is the number 1. With a Soul Urge number of 1, you want to lead and direct, to work independent of supervision, by yourself or with subordinates. You take pride in your abilities and want to be recognized for them. You may seek opportunities to display your strength and usefulness, wanting to create and originate. In your desire to manage the big picture and the main issues, you may often leave the details to others.

The positive 1 Soul Urge is Ambitious and determined, a leader seeking opportunities. There is a great deal of honesty and loyalty in this character. If you possess positive 1 Soul Urge qualities, you are very attainment oriented and driven to success. You are a loyal friend and strictly fair in your business dealings.

The negative side of the 1 Soul Urge must be avoided. A negative 1 is apt to dominate situations and people; the home, the spouse, the family and the business. Emotions aren't strong in this nature. If you possess an excess of 1 energy, you may, at times, be boastful and egotistic. You must avoid being too critical and impatient of trifles. The great need of the 1 Soul Urge is the development of friendliness, and a sincere interest in people.

Your Inner Dream number is: 1

An Inner Dream number of 1 means:
You dream of being a leader and one who is in charge. You want to be known for your courage, daring, and original ideas. You seek unconquered heights. People may get a first impression that you are very aggressive and sure of yourself.

Go to http://www.paulsadowski.com/Numbers.asp to get your own results. I'd say what I got fits me pretty well, freakishly enough.

A few people here have posted about my first name already, that being Andrew. But i'll go ahead and post about it again XD.

    Its origin is Greek and it means "Manly" and "Brave"... some places list "Warrior" as a meaning aswell, but i'd expect any manly and brave person to be a warrior anyway XD. It's the patron saint of Scotland, Russia, Greece and Romania aswell as having a religious reference, being the first apostle of christ i believe o.O; Don't hold me to that religious reference though >.>;

Its a pretty popular name haha. Used to live on St Andrews road when i was a kid aswell, that was pretty entertaining to me back in those days XD.

My surname is a little less popular and has about 5 million different spellings apparently... since my school could never get it right despite how simple it is XD.

Moffett - It's of Scottish origin, which makes sense since most of my family is from around there XD. It's a habitational name from Moffat in Dumfriesshire, named in Gaelic as ‘the long plain’, from magh ‘plain’ + fada ‘long’.
