It might be because Rep means nothing on this forum. There is nothing special you can do with it, it does not give you special abilities in the forum or open up secret areas.

There is no point in rep here it is just a number and a dot.

Also on a side note there is no such think as Rep here, the system that is currently in use is the Thanks system. Face it Rep is dead.

I am wondering why you are saying that I said that I have never spammed and calling me a liar :lol: I don't know a single member who has not spammed a little in their time. 99% of my original post in this thread was spam, but there was relevence to the topic at hand.

Also derailing the thread away from the original purpose of the thread is spam in a certain way. So in turn changing the conversation over to Rep. is by all practicle means spam. So in even responding to this post the way I have technically is spam also.

I don't think I remember getting 100 posts. At the time I wasn't one for checking to see how many I'd posted - I didn't even notice a post count. :o

I'll notice when I hit 1000 though. And 10,000? I don't think I will. If it has taken me a year to get to where I am now, then thats... what, another 10-13 years to come? Unless things pick up here. There is also the chance that TFF might one day go (keeps fingers crossed I'll still be here when I'm 50), or I might get sick and tired of it (I probably won't - self confessed addict, I am.

Haha... now I have that Simpsons song in my head. The one when Homer is flushing the springs down th bog... Haha... :o

Once I post this, I will be one post away from 100. Likely, once I manage it, I will just forget about my account for awhile and return in a few weeks :P

I seriously can't remember my 100th post! If the posts in thee Humore/Word Games forum counted, I'd have well over 1,000 posts by now!!

right now this would be my 31st post, i am about 69 posts away from reaching 100
half way would be about 19 posts
:lol: ive done all the math in my head, but of course it sometimes helps to try a little thing to make something freash and new, but other than that im bored and still trying to reach 100 posts, im getting close but still a far ways off

I don't quite remember when I got 100 posts, that was quite a while ago now. I joined back in late 2005 so it was a while back but I think I felt good about it. xD It took a while though.. I think? I just joined another forum recently and only have like four posts so it'll take me a while to get up to 100 but oh well. I don't post as much as I used to but I'm still around, as per always. I don't think I could totally abandon this place. :lol:

After this post, I'll need 6 more posts to become a Trainer, thus putting be that much closer to 1000 posts!^^

Maybe, but I sure as hell miss being a pirate. Sounds a lot more badass than half the things that followed.

As for post count, meh. A few will get you arcade games and possibly one or two other things, but apart from that, there's not really much it does apart from allowing a few people to brag before realising that most people don't really care. Hell, if a N/A post count and the ability to use any past job you've earned via posting was available I'd take it and regrab pirate. Arrrrr...

Well, to be honest, the whole thread lacks any sort of real content. I just don't happen to care. I mean, just because we have "don't spam out your arse" as one of the listed rules doesn't mean we can't have a little fun either. It's about balance.

I really can't remember what I did when I reached 100 posts. Knowing me I probably didn't even notice until I got to 102. Or I thought "yay" in my head and continued my usual life, which at that time was pretty much this forum and my A-levels, and the odd bit of social. Things like post counts etc. don't really phase me.

100 posts? Years ago. Quite an internet accomplishment for someone who NEVER posts.

I have a tear in my eye for every post under my count. Those hours wasted could have gone to reading books, meeting women, sailing the seas, and saving the world. Alas, I am resigned to it.

I think I'm nearing 8k. I took me more of less fourish years to get to this point. I think I may one day reach 10k, but I doubt anything beyond that, since my activity is skewered with how busy life is just lately and may stay like that for the following months.

PS. I believe it took me about 10 days from joining to reach 100 posts. But that's ancient history now.

...It's not something to aim for. And you won't get there any time soon if you spam or one-line all the time, since your posts will start to be deleted or warned for. So watch out for that.

I'm just saying -- I had all the free time in the world back then and used a lot of it up at TFF. I have my regrets about that, but it's done now and I feel I've left some small impression the TFF history.
I was particularly disliked for the first couple of years by a group of members. Me and one of the other mods didn't like each other at all, but now we've reconciled and things between us are pretty darn good. Nowadays, I think I'm pretty similar for popularity, but I don't notice or care as much if people don't like me, whereas when I first joined, it upset me somewhat.

It's not that at all.I just find this forum.
I think that i have many things to say and many thoughts that i want to share.
Also i would like to reach 100 post just to take place in the arcades tournaments.
I would like to thank you though because you tell me what i must not do in these forums if i want to take place in discussions.
I don't get upset when other people say their opinion about my posts so i don't think that i will be in your position when you joined the forum.Sometimes bad things happen for good reassons :)
