As for myself, just the usual: class, homework, freetime, work, mess around, bedtime. I pray that you all have a more exciting day then myself ^^;.

I do get the keys to my new apartment tomorrow. So happy valentine's to meeeeee. And I told boyfriend not to get me anything (because... my birthday is coming up and what the hell? Also I don't need chocolate, obvs), and that I didn't want to go out to eat because going out on V-day is a shit show. However, I do want to spend time together, so the plan is to cook dinner together and I'm gonna buy a nice wine to drink. He wants to do this in my new apartment, but that will depend on whether or not the water is turned on. It would not be romantic to not be able to flush the toilet.


EDIT: Last year, I went out to dinner with a bunch of single friends. Boyfriend was there, but he was not boyfriend at the time. He wanted to be, I knew that, but I told him not to do anything special for me, just come to dinner. His roommate was like, "It's a TRAP," but he trusted me and did what I asked, and I liked him for it. In a month, we were in an "official" relationship.

Heh. It'll be my first Valentine when I'm with someone. He seems a little excited as I think it's his first one too, and I have a bad feeling he's gone overboard on the gift front (despite me saying over and over that I didn't really want anything, and would be happy with chocolates).

He is a pretty big Marvel fan, so I bought him a new bag with Marvel comic print. He's been using his brother's bag for a little while since his cat appeared to have pissed on his one (cat piss = not a good smell). I did plan on getting him a small men's bath kit too as he loved the one my mother got him for Christmas, but I couldn't find it or even the range to pick something new. So I made him a Valentine's Day card from scratch instead. And also! I'm cooking dinner tomorrow for him and my family. Going to be cooking a Cottage Pie and vegetables.

I put a lot of love into the things I make and cook. I hope it's well received.

Looks like I'll be spending it like a 12 year old and walking to school with the guy I like. Then by the end of it, I'll have felt that I've aged 10 years. So this is what valentines is like?

I have been on the other end of things. One year I was ditched for some unknown reason. Another year (last year) I can't even remember what happened. I was for SURE single. I probably worked and spent it with my family. This year, I am single again, but probably not as depressed.

In the year(s) I was in a relationship, he would treat me to a dinner, and the second year we were dating, I went out to see him in Quebec as a surprise. Unfortunately, that was a major factor that lead to our break-up, and I learned from that. I thought it was a great idea, but he hates surprises......a lot apparently. Lets just say it was not a good weekend

For future years, I won't be going out on a limb unless someone is willing to do the same for me. That's what relationships should be like I think. No one sided bs someone going all out for someone who doesn't even give a ****. You know what I mean?!

Seriously though, I'm working all day, which is a total bummer because I'm seeing someone. ^_^ We're still meeting up after work, though. I'm cooking him dinner (just something I picked up on the fly after work yesterday as I didn't finish until 11 last night) and giving him a massage...

This is the first Valentine's Day since... welll... ever, that I'm actually looking forward to. My ex-partner was very big on romance, much more than most men, but it would come scross as really pathetic. -_- So I would actually dread Valentine's Day when I was with him.

Rhapso spent time practicing how to talk in the third person while simultaneously doing Valentine's Day related activities, such as building a new Magic: The Gathering deck, shopping for guitar parts, writing an essay, and acknowledging how much fun it is being creepy.

On the unrelated end, I contemplated asking this incredibly cute girl if she'd be mine, but while I was arguing the cowardly end of myself, my thoughts trailed off, and one of my friends informed me that I was noticeably staring at her, and she had clearly noticed. Who's a winner? I'm a winner.

I spent this Valentine's Day snowed in at home. But it wasn't the normal humdrum I usually experience at the house. I got into an argument on another forum I frequent. Then, after my journal entry tonight, had a little disagreement with a friend.

I kinda wish these last 321 days of the year have at least a fraction of the involvement (I decided the word "involvement" sounded less pervy than "action", and sounds much better than "drama") I had today.

Well after spending all kinds of time doing calculus problems, working, and getting looks of pity from couples while I went into starbucks alone to get some coffee by myself, I wished all my favorite tff women (and my mom ofc) happy Valentines day. Oh, and I got some hot choco mix from a 9 year old girl who has a crush on me :3 (she is the sister of a kid I work with). I'm going to mix that with some shnapps peppermint and make some alcoholic hot chocolate. Hopefully I dont burn my house down again.

I got some unexpected lovin'. Well, It was decided after a guy basically told me we were going to do it. I kind of felt like a prize to be won or something Oo; Overall, I got a hot chocolate, sex and a decent walk. Successful day I think, and I'm still single.

My day was pretty nice, and it was made all that much better when I got Rocky's valentine's day message. TEE HEE~

Got a big Reese's peanut butter heart from my folks, and some nice well wishes and gifts from some other buddies of mine. The item check girl in Skyward Sword confessed her love for Link, which I thought was...oddly timely and appropriate considering the day. Other than that, just a nice day of chocolate and relaxation for me.

My Valentine's Day went okay... besides me feeling guilt. He bought me three roses, two stuffed toys, two perfumes (apparently I complained that I was running out of my favourite on several occasions, and that you couldn't buy it anywhere... so he got something new for me to try. Both lovely smells - man has taste lol), two mugs (a his and her mug set), some chocolates and a card. THEN helped me cook the dinner that I intended to be a gift from me. AND wouldn't let me share the chocolates with him.
Like I was gonna feckin' share, bwahaha.

Then HE felt bad that he bought a card and I made one from scratch. Still a good day though. I've promised us a night snuggled in bed with a good movie with some hot chocolate in our new mugs. =3

I also got a very lovely card from Rocky, that actually put a smile on my face when I logged into TFF. Thankies. <3

MINE WAS AWESOME.

After work, I was able to sign a lease on my new apartment and get the keys. A few hours later, boyfriend came over with a bunch of supplies and we made dinner. Tilapia (with a pumpkin seed/Parmesan/spicy crust), mac and cheese (IT WAS AWESOME), and potatoes and onions. We lit candles, drank wine, and had an awesome dinner on a fold-out card table with a tablecloth (and folding chairs). Then we piled up some pillows on the floor, did couple stuff, and watched a movie (Devil's Rejects).

It was perfect. Partly because we both remembered to bring toilet paper for the empty apartment.

Also, he did make me a valentine. I was under the impression that we weren't exchanging gifts, just spending time together, but that mother****er made me a five page thing of inside jokes and awesome things. Whatever, I'll get him.
