There's that site, y'know. Anybody visit that site? It's amazing. They have a page for practically everything; even, as it turns out, Five Iron Frenzy (but not The W's...) It's kinda like if Wikipedia didn't read like a textbook. And it's also not filled with Internet Cynicism/Vulgarity, which is a FUCKIN'. PLUS. In my eyes. I can go read about my old favorites like Darkwing Duck, or new favorites, like Fantastic Mr. Fox. And see what tropes these shows/movies/books/video games/whatever may have abused/started.

It could probably steel your soul... You could probably sit there for long enough that it would eat it away...

Um... so this can be a discussion... Uh... what do you think of it? I... I like it. I think it was a clever idea. My favorite is the one about Jerk Asses, or Jerk Ass Sues.

Also; is this advertising? Is it not advertising? It's not my personal site, and it's got a rather massive reputation... and there was a thead about That Guy With The Glasses... Oh well. See if I ever make a new thread again! Anyhoo...

XD The few times I've gone on there via links or whatever I ended up just clicking through to see what it said about, well, everything. Before I know it three hours have passed and I'm about to be late for work. Very addicting, it is.

Yeah I've fallen victim to the same thing Dragonheart. I didn't know about TV Tropes until I followed a link to the site through something I was reading. After that I just started reading the trope and the things anime/manga associated with that trope getting a good laugh from some of them. And just end up following one to the next curious to know what the next trope means. So many hours gone just because of curiosity.

I've gone on it once or twice, just because I had nothing better to do, and thankfully I was able to pull myself away from it before I spent waaaay too much time there. It's all about self-control.

Yeah, there was some comixed comic where some guy was like "I'm gonna look at some TV Tropes articles!" or something like that. And in the next panel, he was a skeleton. He liked it. Anyhoo...
