It's highly random and I am aware of that but I thought it could be fun. I would also like to express how it's not a game.. but semi serious. I wanted to compile a list of events in which members here would like to do in their life before they die.
Once we have 100 - mission accomplished and the thread will be closed or something xD. So basically I'll keep track and update the number of different ideas we have etc etc.
So it's pretty basic as to what to post here. Simple say some things that you really want to do before you die.
The more adventurous the better! You are allowed to post more than once of course (although no double-posting <_<), so keeping flow of the thread is crucial ^~.
The question is...
What do YOU want to do before you DIE?

I am usually not an adventurous person, so my post for 100 things to do may be a little bland, but I would love to go scuba diving and see some coral reefs up-close.
I have never been to the ocean, and I went to an aquarium for the first time in my life just two weeks ago. I loved it, but I really would love to see all the underwater life in its natural habitat.

1. I want to get a book published. It would be written by me, of course. I don't even care if it's self-published, and sells like 5 copies; I just want to be a "published author" before I die. Possibly write an entire series of books (and sell copies to the 5 people who bought the first one, heh.)
2. Own some kind of shop on the coast. That is my dream retirement; to own one of those little knick-knack shops you visit while you're on the coast. I don't even care where, although I'd probably prefer some place that didn't get too cold. One of the smaller towns, though, so I don't get too much business and have to do too much work in my golden years (although I could probably hire some help, too...)
3. Something more adventurous.... maybe work some place with extreme conditions for a season. Like crab fishing in Alaska, or working at one of those bases in Antarctica (although I say this now... I might not want to if the chance arises, heh.)
4. Snorkling... with sharks! That would kick ass!
5. Write and perform in an independent movie with a big name or two. Like Bruce Campbell or Viggo Mortensen, or something. Anyhoo...

What would I do? There are so many things but I will only mention the most important.
- Visit Tokyo, no, visit as many places in Japan as I could.
- Eat every Japanese meal.
- Play those FF games that I didn't play.
- Go to the Evanescence and Nightwish concert.
- Bungee jumping and parachuting.
- Make my own manga or anime
- Make my own movie with top class actors and high budget
this is enough for now.

What would I like to do before I die? hmm...
I seem to have some of the same ideas that Oceaneyes does, like finding the right lady to spend the rest of my life with and having a flourishing and wonderful family, that's pretty important to me. One I'd like to do is to actually set aside enough time (and patience) to finish up FF12. Never got around to beating that game. I'd also like to visit some places overseas. I'd like to make visits to places with history, but also places with some great resorts and getaway opportunities, like maybe Greece or something. If at all possible, I would want to try to find the cure for autism, seems like a challenging enough goal for me. I'd like to continue working in field that I am doing as of right now, which is having the privledge to work with children that have special needs; maybe become like a CEO of a similar place some day. Eventually I'd like to take time off in the middle of my career for a few months and take my immediate family on a vacation to many different countries throughout the world; that in itself would be one big lesson in culture, lol. Also I'd like to meet a few fellow tffers that don't seem completely strange to me, you all know who you are I'm sure.
Oh, and I'd like to finish the goddamn battletoads game. I can never seem to beat it, it's too difficult for me, ughhhh.

I've always wanted to get my hands on some museum-esque bottle of rare wine that most will never dream of seeing. There's just something so appealing about sampling something incredible made by the hands of men long past that many will never experience I guess...
The only downside is the regret after drinking such a bottle of wine. Like one time use art or something...

What I want to accomplish is quite simple, and pretty easy to do. I want to learn how to fly, join the air force, become a fighter pilot, register for NASA, get accepted into NASA's space program, learn how to fly a spaceship, go into space, take over the international space station, send a few nukes down to earth, blow a whole bunch of crap up, come back to earth, set off a few more nukes, and declare myself president of the world. I'd also like to try a mango someday.
Go to TAFE/uni, go snorkeling, get my driver's license, learn to ride a motorbike (properly, this time), learn to play bass guitar or the drums, visit the following places: New York, Arizona, Philadelphia, Chicago, Mexico, Japan, Los Angeles (again), travel some more, publish a book, own a pet bunny (they are illegal to own in Queensland), go to a concert - preferably Motley Crue, get married and settle down, have children (?).
Mmm.. Before I die.. I want to:
*My parents be proud of me!
*be a singer and an anime artist
*design characters for a popuLar games or new anime
*be famous :-)
*Live in a super big house with many house maids and servants .. :-) LoL!

I have some generic things on my list, as well as some personal aspirations that certainly would apply to a small number of people.
- Write a book. At least one, because I feel like I was destined to do that.
- Backpack across Europe for a summer.
- Become fluent in another language.
- Become a better drummer and find some peeps to play a gig somewhere. Even one show would be surreal.
- Read all the classic literature (worldwide, which is a LOT of literature to read lol)
- Find someone who I can trust enough to love without fear of getting my heart obliterated yet again.
- Watch the Iditarod in Alaska.
- Meet TFFers (those who are high on my list know who they are, although there are MANY great peeps here)
OLD SKOOL - A positive appellation referring to when things weren't flashy but empty of substance, were done by hard work, didn't pander to the lowest common denominator, and required real skill. In reference to computer games, refers to a game that had substantial playability without flashy graphics or eye candy. Old skool gamers appreciate difficult maneuvers, careful planning, and scorched earth policies.
In reference to role-playing games, old skool refers to games that tested players' wits, could kill off careless characters, and required dedication and inner strength to play. Old skool games didn't pander to the ideas that everyone is created equal, that all options are open to all races, that the markets were somehow free, and that a quasi-medieval society could have near 100% literacy.
