UGH!!! I had to completely block and delete farmville so I wasn't tempted to use it EVER AGAIN!! That game got SOO Addictive, It started to take me away from my studies. I would wake up in the middle of the night just to harvest my damn farm. I'm so happy to be rid of that nonsense.

It has turned shitty over the years unfortunately. Barely actually log in anymore.

Myspace is old news, anyone who is anyone has a FB. Accept me, I can be a someone without it .

Facebook is simply another fad/trend that will fade off in a few years. Mark my words, this whole social network thing won't last that long except for maybe Twitter. (Which I hate more than FB, btw)

Facebook. I can be myself and swear like a mother****ing pirate without worrying about some ***** getting offended and deleting any content I type. There's no favouritism on Facebook. I can say whatever the Hell I want and if someone disagrees with me they have the option if unfriending me or... unfriending me. XD

Plus it's one of the places I can still contact my TFF olds who either outgrew the place or became disgusted with it. XD

I just recently made my facebook account, few months ago, the moment I realized MSN is dead. I find it to be rather stupid, sure, it's great to chat with your friends and see people you haven't seen in a long time, but that's what's Skype for, at least in my case.

Facebook is full of people with terrible taste in music, those who send you stupid request, people who expect you to like their comments, statuses, and pictures with little to no difference. I would lie if I said that I don't spend time on facebook, though I'm more fond of TFF.

I had NO friends. Then again, I think that one was a secondary account. I also came across my main one, but I couldn't view it, because it was set to private and only friends could view it. I really wanted to see it, but I can't remember what my email was at the time so I can't log in.

I had a bebo account. I neglected it though. I didn't have a need for it. I was already well into forums at that time. I don't even remember my username. And my password was probably something completely off from what I use now. Ooh, the memories.

TFF is awesome for proper discussions, not only about Final Fantasy. But Facebook is more a close friends and family thing to me, where we all have a laugh and make friends.

I make friends on here too, but I probably will never meet any of them because you're all so far awayyyyy

The thing about facebook is thast is isn't just a friends and family. When I'm in the mood for it, I will go to a couple groups and start random conversations with random people. Then it's up to them if they want to add me as a friend or not. You can do so much with facebook. Everyone and their dog has a freakin facebook account. The possibilities are limitless.

With Forums, we all have something in common. The love of Final Fantasy. I think forums would have more close knit friendships then facebook. I guess it's just your view on things.

I'm hating Facebook so much at the moment! I detest having to read mundane status update from people that I added simply because I work with them and couldn't refuse. For example, today one of my "friends" is in love with her mum's new washing machine... really. Please, someone shoot me, the excitement is too much to bear...

I also really hate the fact that people snoop around so much. Yeah, yeah, we all stalk each other... you really can't help it. But at least I'm smart enough to be discreet about it Another girl from work (yes, I work with some very strange people) was doing a refund for my friend who she'd never met before, and announced that she recognized her from my facebook, and even called her by her full name as she approached... freaking creeeeepy.... and annoying

I know I'm quite new on here, but at least I know we have things in common to talk about that we actually find interesting. I feel quite comfortable letting loose on here. I have to be constantly conscious of what I'm saying on facebook, as nobbish family members, and "friends, as above" are reading it, liking it, or spreading it. It caused ridiculous issues with my paranoid ex aswell. Hence the reason why my friend calls it the "devil's tool."
But, the stupidest thing of all, is that, despite this, I still have an account...
RANT OVER.

I have recently been bullied into joining FB, and so far it isn't that bad. I have met up with friends I lost contact with over ten yrs ago, talked to family I didn't know I have, and am generally taking joy in f****ng with all of them.

None of that changes the fact that TFF holds a special place in my heart. If I am in the mood to spout nonsense for a few hours, then FB is the place to do it; but if I want to talk with people, and I mean actually TALK, I always come here. I have some great people in my TFF family, I think I talk to them more than my real one, so TFF most definitely wins this one in my opinion.

Oh yeah, another good thing about this place...unlike Facebook, there aren't a lot of people going all "OMG JERSEY SHORE TONIGHT!!!" Ugh! So annoying and I will never understand why such a trashy show gets so popular.
