What irritates you about TFF at times?

At the moment, I haven't been active and all these people are popping up in a 'remember me?' type fashion. Half of them only have 100-300 posts and they weren't initially around for that long but then I feel bad because I can't say I remember them because I don't and they all kinda seem the same to me and it's horrid. xD

Likewise, people who do that same thing when they have like 15 posts and expect to be lauded as some kind of returning hero. Not gonna happen, unless you were some old timer and had your account deleted, and now you're coming back.

This is not targeted to anyone, but in general I don't like posts I can't read. Not Specifically a forum annoyance... but it does bug me. Some post look like they were typed with a blindfold on.

Also do smiles count as images? I was posting a journal entry and it said I had too many images, so I got rid of some. I get smiley happy sometimes I guess that kind of sucks.

The very redundant question that almost every newer member asks at one point or another "whats hp for?" or "whats MP for". Seriously it takes a minute to find 20 treads about the same topic, why post a new one? Good thing the FAQs are being updated, bad thing is that topic has already been adressed in the old one.

New Members vs. Vets: Now before I get quoted on something that might be taken out of context, I'm not implying that all vet members are like this. The funny thing I find very amusing is how you have older members bitching about the "Golden Age" of TFF on how lively, active, and vibrant it used to be and yet they don't do shit but bitch and moan where I've noticed the majority and contribution of activity now comes from regulars who are actually the newer members.

Me: Once upon a time, I used to be active on these forums then this Fish just rolled over in the fishbowl flooded with shit. Green shit.

I also don't like having to wait between sending VMs out. I understand that it's probably there for a reason, but when you're in a hurry in the mornings and you want to quickly reply to a few VMs, being told "Please wait..." doesn't do it for me.

People I don't know adding me on MSN is another. Yes, I have my MSN floating in my profile and the MSN thread, but if you've not spoken to me through here and told me you're adding me, I won't accept your request to add.

Ok this is a minor annoyance but in the Lit forum, I hate it when someone writes a "story" and thinks that one - three paragraphs constitues a "chapter"

I am not a writer by any means and I can understand that there are creative differences in writing styles but if I am going to read something I really don't want to see a new "chapter" every post, specially if it is just going to be a continuation of a previous post. For Pete's sake ( no I am not talking about out Pete, or am I dunn dunn dunnnnnnn ) just keep writing new posts until you can legitamantly make a decent call on when a new chapter begains and the old one ends. We have title options avaibile in the Advance post section, use them!

For example Chatper 1, next post title chater 1 continued.

Then again you don't have to even list what part of a chapter you are in.

Posts 1-29 chapter 1, in the header of post 30 mention that it is chapter 2 if it switches to chapter 2.

10 posts = 10 chapters of 2 paragraph posts are just not cool in my books.

Honestly to me this kills a "story" and I will stop reading immediatly when I see this happen.

That would annoy me too, but thankfully, I don't see that at TFF very often.

I get annoyed when people post something, and I can barely make out what they are trying to say, or when there are many blatant grammatical errors. I don't mind if there is an error here and there, but if there are errors everywhere, it starts to get on my nerves.

I also find it kind of annoying when some of the members welcome the new members in their new member thread with a standard post and pretty much post the exact same thing in every thread. You can at least be a little creative and ask a question about the person or reply to something interesting that the new member said... Who was that one member? SimplyKIT or something? Yes, don't be like that one member. If you are still around here, I'm sorry for bringing you up like this...

This is really more about the forum layout, but I also get annoyed when I see various forums/subforums that exist around TFF that in my opinion shouldn't even exist. There are several forums around here that haven't been posted in, in over a year. No one posts in these forums and I think they just take up space and should be done away with.

I'm also in agreement about the going away forever/coming back threads. I find it kind of funny when I see threads about people coming back, and expect everyone to remember them when they posted less than 100 posts. I also get annoyed about the leaving forever threads. If you haven't even been here a month, and you post a thread saying that you are leaving forever, I can assure you that no one really cares.

Finally I get annoyed about some random profile comments. This is probably just me, but I don't really like when random people, especially people that I have rarely seen on TFF, post random comments on my profile. I don't mind if it's asking a question or about something I posted, but when it is just completely random, I get kind of annoyed. For example, I don't really like when people just post, "hey there," or something that I don't even understand what is even being talked about. "Hey there, how's it going? I haven't seen you post in awhile." would be perfectly acceptable, but I don't really like "hey there." It makes it seem like the person who posted it just likes to post spam and doesn't want to start a conversation or anything.

Most of my annoyances were listed previously, so maybe later, I'll come up with some more original ones.

Truth be told, I don't think many members whined as much as you guys did before you left, BUT I do remember maybe one or two of you guys being cool when separated from the pack. Funny, I was here before you left and honestly this forum isn't any less "dead" then when the BoD was here. The daily post counts where between 150-300 per day when the BoD was still here and active. We still see these numbers here daily if not higher. Your point is null and void with that statement.

I have read through a good chunck of the BoD's main club thread and I must say it was one of my annoyances. I found most of it to be a redundant spluring of the words "wench", "booze", "yarr", and random spam about "raping" and "pilaging". Point in that? None besides a "shit storm" of crap posts and spam.

I watched as the BoD bowed out over a RP and then laid blame to the forum staff instead of sucking it up like the "evil doers" they claim to be. This was annoying also.

Lastly "satanmas" or what ever the hell it was called was retarted and the BoD is still highly suspected in the events that occured during that time; atleast in my concerns. Also annoying and retarded, thats just my opinion though.
