    Steampunk

    Just recently, as i was searching the world over for the perfect pair of goggles, i came across steampunk items. Wiki defines steampunk as a sub-genre of science fiction or neo-victorianism. so i finally found my goggles and now have a burning obsession to make my own Steampunk stuff. If you dont know what steampunk is or looks like look it up on google images

    Steampunk stuff if cool. I hope they make more steampunk set movies (crap like Wild Wild West won't cut it)

    I most often use my steampunk dice set when I play D&D. A cool item, not sure if you would have use for such an item, but still a cool collectable either way.

    I cant get the link to work correctly, just click the "steampunk" tab on the right. I use the white with black text

    the whole steampunk genre is pretty cool. however, for the people that dress steampunk on occasion, it is really easy to go overboard and it looks bad. its hard to pull off properly. so bravo to those that can.

    You being sarcastic about the awesomeness?
    Steampunk is one of those looks that is amazing when pulled off, but utterly horrible if less than perfect (like when trekkies dress like Kingons, for comperison). Nice steampunk gear is also quite pricey(all the intriquite shaping of the brass I guess).

    Re: Steampunk

    I like Steampunk. I just like the rusted, industrial, Victorian look with all the intricate details. It's just interesting. I don't own anything like it because it's so expensive. Kinda like Cyberpunk, really. I don't think I'd every fully commit myself to buying anything Steampunk or Cyberpunk for a very long time. For now, it's just pretty to look at.

    I guess it's one of the reasons why I find Bioshock so interesting. Most of my time spent playing is just exploring the levels. ^^;

    Yeah some cool stuff on that site, was browsing around it a few months ago in hopes to find shades like the ones Sarah Connor wears in T2. Found out they dont make them anymore

    This entirely. Now that I'm in need for a new set of die anyways... Definitely going to pick up some of these.

    Also, would love to see more steampunk movies coming out. All in all, just something different from what we've been seeing in theaters would be nice, really. That's a whole different convo though.
