Why is there no automatic redirection to the new site name?

The new site is still under the old TFF name in TFF dark, is this intentional?

Why isn't there a general email notification that the site name has changed? Not everyonw uses facebook. I didn't know that the site was running again until I got a link from Peter to a thread and I am staff.
