What do you do with yours, and what do you prefer others to with theirs?

We have a topic about sex, so if this gets closed, I call bullshit.

I keep mine. **** shaving, it's all natural and I don't want an extra place to shave all the time, and I have never been with anyone who had a problem with it.

As far as on others, well, females, I don't give a shit what other guys do, I don't mind if they have it as long as it's not a vajungle and I can get through it. And as long as they don't have crabs.

Eh, I think it's a pretty interesting topic. Nobody every talks about their pubic hair. Ever. And maybe they should.

Besides, if it's really that boring of a topic and people don't like it then they just won't post and the thread will die, and become lost in the back pages that no one looks at.

Everyone was having the pubic hair discussion not too long ago in the MSN convo, and most said they shaved. Yeah, we get pretty bored apparently. But anyways, I don't think there's anything too wrong with talking about it, but it's like asking people how they wipe their butt or how big their poo is. Sort of an undesirable topic to most people. Most shave, trim, or get it waxed. All the above are reasonable methods, even if waxing sounds more painful. Besides, pubic hair protects the skin from bacterias. I don't see the logic in getting the hair completley removed.

There is a difference between a thread discussing serious issues like crimes committed on children, young adults, and elderly people. Against anyone as far as that goes. This thread is childish and pushing the limit. It's comments and questions like what you are asking that lead some to think maybe you have your mind going in the wrong direction.

As stupid as I think this thread is, I have to ask; what kind of guy other than 14 / 15 year old boys shave their pubic hair? That's ****ing wrong. Nobody wants a bald, clinical looking trouser snake. Unless you're religious and from the middle East.

the majority of my extremely large group of friends from chicago all agree that hair down there is disgusting. no one wants to be flossing with that stuff lol. and besides it just looks neater. to break it down between gender. 99% of men and lesbians prefer their lady to be clean shaven or very closely trimmed, a landing strip is even ok if your not cool with it all being gone. moving on to men, most woman or gay men prefer their man either shaven or trimed. more say trimmed cuz after a day or two after shaving it gets prickly and that could cause a painful situation lol

now thats not speaking for everyone but it does count for about 200 people from chicago......yes we go out drinking and this topic comes up a whole lot, i have no idea why

I declare my outright defiance to waxes and razor blades. I don't mind involving some sort of trimmer on occasion and prefer to keep everything to a nice healthy minimalism.

Ann, your first few responses to this thread promote spam more than JC's. If you don't like the thread, report it and don't post in it. Arguing over the validity of a pubic hair thread is taking away from the actual topic of pubic hair itself (that sentence makes me laugh).

JC, I'll keep the thread open as long as you and others stop getting (sigh) off topic and stop one-lining. I don't have a problem with the thread, but I do have a problem with the responses so far. Though, I suppose I can't blame most posters for being a little too embarrassed to say much. Whatever, just stay on topic.

Ooooo razor burn sounds nasty, you could of tried electric shaver, the results wont be as smooth as what waxing would be, but you might not get razor burn, ive never had a prob with the electric shaver

To keep things simple, I trim. Pretty much whenever I get a hair cut, I make sure to give my buddy down there a haircut as well. I tried shaving once, at the request of an at-the-time girlfriend, and all I can say on that matter is never again. For the first few days, walking and sitting were just plain uncomfortable. It felt like i had sandpaper underwear on. Plus it looked awkward as hell. The rest of my body was tan to a point and somewhat hairy... except for this one patch. It looked like I was about 20 everywhere, except for my groin... where I looked like I was 10 (in reference to body hair, not the size of anything... just clearing that up).

As for the ladies, if I'm doing my part to keep it clean, you should be doing the same. I hooked up with one girl who had a jungle down there once, and it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've encountered.

All I use is a crappy beard/ mustache trimmer. You can find them at CVS, Rite Aid or even online. There's no need to pick up a professional model, just one that works. I also suggest sitting on the toilet before a shower while doing it. That way the bulk of it goes into the toilet and the rest washes off in the shower.

Im a guy and I trim regularly and ive never found a problem. I dont completely shave, just trim it very short. It looks much nicer and shaving is even said to make us guys look bigger. All the girls ive been with have preferred it over natural.

I only prefer my ladies to keep the labia shaved or waxed. As for the area above I don't care. As previously mentioned, no one likes flossing with someone else's pubes.

As for myself, I shaved once. I got razor burn and it looked a little weird. I guess I wasn't used to seeing everything go bald. Although maybe a #2 buzzcut prolly wouldn't be so bad. It won't make it look wierd and it won't feel like sandpaper. I'm gonna try that. *logs off*

I shaved twice before and with the results, I would never go bald again. It feels completely weird and getting the razor burn does suck. Now, I just trim and keep it clean.

I agree with Pete though. I think that's its just as fair for girls to be doing the same thing as guys are. A little hair down there is manageable or even no hair at all. But if it's crazy and insane then that's a problem and it needs to be fixed.

I started waxing probably late-ish last year. All waxed off.

It really doesn't bother me on other people. Although IMO, on girls it's nice if it's not all over the place, if that makes sense.. As in, it can be natural if it's well looked after? Nobody wants scratchy bush rash after sexing.

It's never really bothered me at all with guys, besides when they go and wax/shave absolutely everything off. That just looks kind of.. Prepubescent and weird.
