2. If they were, the absolute last thing they would do is make a card game about it.
3. If people 'read widely and communicate ... well', why would they automatically disfavour a large government? What.

EDIT: Also, not to take this thread seriously (please, no-one take it seriously), but if you were the author of a role playing card game that gets into the whole conspiracy theory thing, and you wanted a card that represented terrorism, what would you draw? The Twin Towers represented Western excess and imperialism. The Pentagon represents the government that sanctions it. Those are pretty logical things to draw, and they have been in other mediums (I recall reading about a game made in 1994, where planes crash into the Twin Towers -- again, a logical thing for terrorists to be doing). None of them imagined it would really happen. And those are the only two cards that represent things that have actually happened. The Big Ben (is it the Elizabeth Tower or something?) is still standing, world population is growing faster than it ever has before in most of the world... etc.
