This past weekend I did a little driving and stayed with our old friend indecisive dictator. Some of you may remember her. Most of you will not.

I didn't take NEARLY enough pictures while I was in College Station. I had a lot of random fun though. Usually it was just a lot of hang-out time, so there weren't a ton of photo opportunities.
Haha, I love them, however few. The picture in the Bronco is classic. I think you're saying peace, but for some reason, it reminds me of Stormy from Sealab 2021 saying "Eaast Side" while making the West side symbol.

A Kikyo (from Inuyasha) costume in progress. I just got the hakama pants and kimono in the mail today. It's a perfect fit! I have a bow/arrow set, and a wig in the process, since they gave me the 60 inch wig rather than the 40 inch. I was going to add bangs to the wing, anyways and 20 inches of excess hair and some ribbon will MORE than suffice. Only thing is that the costume itself needs slight modifications in order to be authentic and realistic. For one, it's missing that red string Kikyo has in front. Another is that the kimono has no clasps to hold it closed besides the nature of the hakama pants, so it kept falling open when I was trying to take pictures. A simple couple of snaps or velco will fix that. I'm debating whether I should cut slits and re-seam the hakama pants like she has it in the anime where the white shows at her hips. That and wondering whether to get a shikon jewel. Hrm. I got a little time before I have to wear it for real, so we'll see.
