Am I the only one here who has paranormal issues? I feel like I'm being watched by someone, but there isn't anybody around. I hear voices, talking to me...
I'm not scared or anything, but I am a little confused why I am the only one in my family that has these problems...I'm not the only one, am I?

I knew of someone who was like that and he ended up having schizophrenia, I don't know, that's more than creepy if you ask me, you should look into that. Unless you think house is haunted or something, but you said no one hears it but you so that's probably not the case.

I'm thinking about creating a hybrid. A dolphin-monkey. Half dolphin, half monkey. Do you think it's possible?
I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

do you have any friends? do you feel lonely? this happens mostly because you feel lonely. i'm not saying for sure but its just my opinion. i mean, when you are alone, you tend to feel more insecure and want to protect yourself in some way and maybe that could be the effect of over protecting yourself. i know someone that has a more severe situation, she thinks that everyone in the house is talking about her and we didnt even talk about anything. just be optimistic, people are no harm.
I have friends, but I live in the country and it's usually just me and my mum at home, so I guess I do feel a little lonely at times. My friends live about 2 miles away from me, so I don't get to hang out with them much. I am also being talked about behind my back, so I may also be put off by that.

You know what's good for keeping those voices out of your head?
Tinfoil hats.
I kid.
Anyway, I think that if you're in silence too long, you do start to hear things that aren't really there, or maybe your brain is mistaken a sound for something else. Often faint sounds are interpreted by our brains based on past experience, such as familiar sounds such as voices of friends or a car in the driveway, etc. I wouldn't worry about that too much, really.
As for the "being watched" feeling, I can't say for sure. It does sound like something you should really talk to about with someone close to you.
If I wear a tin hat, then I would probably look very wierd...(people would mistake me for an alien) lol
I have spoken to my mates and my parents about it. They say that I'm just imagining it. (My parents think it is because of my final fantasy addiction that has melted my brain-cells.)

Ghosts totally exist!
Seriously this one time this hot ghost chick was totally coming onto me this one time but then I woke up, she disappeared and my reaction was pretty much:
...****. True story.
Nah, but I agree with whoever mentioned noises standing out more in silence. The shifts I work that are more or less dead (often middle of week after midnight) get that quite that the wind blowing an empty softdrink into the air and then the floor/a wall makes quite a loud sound wheras when there's a lot of activity I mightn't even notice such things.
2 miles can't be that bad. Hop on your bike and chill with them. It sounds like you really need some involvement with people on the same side of the TV screen as you.

I have a bike, but the roads around me are dangerous to bike on. A lot of accidents have occurred on them. They always seem to be busy when I'm not, but I'm going to my mates after school this Friday. My birthday's coming up shortly, so I'll be busy in the Easter holidays too.

I get paranoid often because I think about things too much, and dwell on them for a long while. Something small can lead to something big in my mind, and then I set up a defence and get pissy with everyone. =/
I only seem to get it when I've been left on my own for a while, or when I get unbearable urges to do something. Hence staying up to fiendish hours in the hopes I'll be in la-la land the second my head hits the pillow when I finally settle into bed. Not sleeping at reasonable times isn't good, but at least I'm not giving my brain things to think about by laying awake for hours. -__-;
As for noises, I'm fairly used to most of them around the flat. The ghost or whatever it is doesn't seem to communicate at all, except for the odd practical joke (even though I'll disagree that pushing a knife across the kitchen counter towards me isn't that funny).

i get paranoid that im being followed; probably stems from this one time when i was 18 where i got followed by this creepy looking guy in a car on my way home from lunch with a friend...it scared the crap outta me and the only way i got him to leave me alone (about 30 mins later) was driving to a police station.
anyway...ive gotten into this involuntary habit where i look around everywhere i go outside - mostly when i was walking to class or in a store parking lot. seriously...about every 10 seconds im looking behind me.
on a more serious note, i agree with what dodie said about hearing things in silence. try to get out of the house some, even if its just for 30 mins or so. and you should try and do something awesome for your b-day, it sounds like you need some more social time

Not at all. I sometimes phase in and out of existence at sporadic intervals. Every time I phase back into existence, my palms each have a letter burned into them. I've assembled the letters into a message. It reads, "The name of this thread is misleading". I'm not sure what that means or what the spirits of non-existence are trying to tell me, but it must be important.
I Really Hate cops.... in this small town im in nothing happens so the cops are LOOKING for some trouble and here there probably a few hundred black ppl in a town of about 40k and a 6'1 dark skinned person easily sticks out so i get stopped ALOT.. so everytime i see a cop i get a lil paranoid even thow im always clean...lol
My macroeconomics teacher claims to have exorcised a family of ghosts that were living in his army barracks when he was a sergeant. He was self-taught too.
I think there are things that can't be explained by normal means, but whether or not they are "ghosts" is up to interpretation.

Sounds just like me. Cept lately, it's because I've been wanting to play FFXIII late at night, so I've been postponing proper sleep hours. When I do decide to go to bed, and it's still dark out, I'll turn my TV on and fall asleep with it on mute. The static sounds and flashing of the shows on the TV help calm my mind. Without it, I'll be unable to fall asleep and get this scared feeling. Even with a nightlight, I still get this feeling... so I guess it's not the dark I'm afraid of. I'm thinking it's the fact that the house is so silent at night, and nobody is awake.. so I feel very alone and vulnerable.
That's kinda cool to me. Do you feel threatened by the unknown presence, or do you feel like it wants to hurt you? If so contact a minister for a blessing, have a priest pray for you (it "should" go away)

Who, me?
I'm not threatened at all. After all, it could very well be my imagination. If it isn't my imagination, then I'm positive whatever it is isn't here to cause harm.
I'm not religious either.

I don't get paranoid but my partners sister has it REAL bad, It actually caused us to fall out. She thinks that every bitchy status I ever put on my facebook was about her and having a dig at her for no reason, when they were 110% NOT about her, it done my head in well bad I had to delete her, now she being really childish and bitchy and getting her sister to keep a check on my staus to see if I'm still bitching about her when I never was, she also has it so bad that she actually went to the doctor and tried to convince them that she had a brain tumor, no offence to anyone on here who gets paranoid but I think trying to convince a doctor that you have a tumor is a bit messed up. Her parnoid problems have actually led her to start getting anxiety and have panic attacks.

Back when I was on drugs I ws paranoid all the damn time. i was pretty much yanking my hair out to stay sane. But that was due to the drugs.
I often feel like people are watching me. I saw someone standing outside of my girlfriends window. Just standing there. Of course it could have been some perv, but regardless.
I don't ever hear voice. Although I had a friend in high school who was really f*cked up in the head. He often heard voices. He said they were demons telling him to kill. So I escorted him to the office, and his ass got sent off.
Sitting here waiting for Rocky, and Che to notice me!!

Back when I was president, I was always paranoid, but that was more because I was the most handsome man in the world and women would do anything to mack with me. Back off, ladies! What do I look like, some sort of slut?
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
Sounds like your brain just thinks too much. People are constantly letting their thoughts go haywire...sometimes it helps to just relax and actually force yourself to clear your mind and not think at all. Might sound strange, but it works.
Also, when I first saw what you wrote, "Paranormal" I thought you meant to say "Paranoia" issues. ? I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in schizos.
