Has anyone listened to the old radio plays, like The Shadow or Jack Benny? Or silent movies ala, Nosferatu? Or even black and white movies or old pulp comics? Maybe even old swing music?
What relics from the Golden Age do you like?
I have always been a HUGE fan of Orson Welles' The Shadow(go here and give a few a listen, I recommend Death in the Deep) and of the Sherlock Holmes radio drama starring Nigel Bruce and Basil Rathbone. I also was a huge fan of German Expressionism, like Nosferatu, Mabuse and Metropolis. I love Louis Armstrong, but that has a lot to do with Fallout 2, though.
Anyone else?
