I can assure you that his claims hold no merits and theres no reason to think the world is going to end today. Religious or not, It doesnt matter. Its a matter of common sense. How does that even work with different time zones? Or did he say a specific time zone? It's still the twentieth here. Yeah I'm not a huge fans of the blanket of Christianity encompassing people that are pretty far out.

I'm sure though he'll just say it was a miscalculation and gum out another date. Hoping that eventually people will just forget about him and his silly escapades at trying to pick out the day the 'end' of the world will happen.

Bold Rowan, my faith is what calls me to say that. The "I'll believe it when I see it" part was merely just a play on words. Perhaps a better way of putting it would be, "I love how he thinks he knows when the world will end".

Anyway, this happens a lot here. My sister will always go on about how "the world is going to end today". I ask why, and she replies, "Cuz some guy said so."

But really though, the world is not going to end anytime soon. If you believed every cockamamy story about how the world would end, you would spend your entire life boarded up in your home. The best thing to do is go outside and enjoy what is out there before the world actually does end (IF it decides to).

And on a side note, the world is not allowed to end today. I haven't paid the electric bill yet. I will not let the world end knowing that I owe the electric company $61.41.

Couldn't tell you...there are a lot of people in the world who have fear and when something like this happens, you grab all their attention because they're too scared to think for themselves.

When it comes to this kind of stuff, I just wonder why the hell do people get sucked into this crap? I remember last year I think it was, some nut predicted the end of the world, and one of his followers sold his house and bought a mobile home, so he could drive around and warn people?!
