I got long wavey brown hair, kind of like Loco's but not that frizzy.
Right now its tied up cause I just woke up and can't sleep with hair in my face.
Yeah I'm a sexy beast with long luscious hair, I know you love it, don't you wish you could just touch and play with it all day O BABI I LUV UR LONG HAIR.
I tried to grow my hair in 10th grade, I believe. I got it to about shoulder length and realized I looked like shit, so I got it cut short again. Now my hair is shorter, even though it's a little shaggy now, since I need a haircut. I'd give an estimate that my hair is about 3 inches on top at the moment, and 2.5 inches on the sides and back. When I get it cut, I'll get it to an inch on the top, half an inch on the sides. I'm kind of leading towards doing something like a pompadour too, but I'm not sure how to go about that.
My hair is sort of shortish in the back (but still long enough to put in a ponytail) and pretty long in the front. Sort of an emo-ish style, but I think it looks good on me and compliments my features. It's black with (rather faded) red tips...
I love my hair... <3
I have quite light and fluffy blond hair that blankets my entire head, it's about the same length the whole way round, the back being slightly lower. My fringe is parted on the left and swept to the side (hiding as much of my forehead as possible, cos my forehead looks bloody huge without the fringe) I like my hair at its current length and I don't think it's ever going to change much because I really can't have it short (my hair's not thick enough) and long hair's too much of a hassle
hair is fun lol but i loves mine long and im thinkin bout styling it any suggestions??
dread locks

I'm pretty sure that's a Death Spike. Ah well, it's a spike made from long hair anyway, haha.
I reckon the Dread Locks would be better... though there really isn't much a guy can do with waiste-length hair.
really hmm mayb i should just do a sephiroth hairstyle lol that sounds nice and sexy
...That's not what she meant. It's just that women tend to care about their own hair more than men. I think she was choosing her preference for a boyfriend or just what she finds attractive.
For men, I usually don't have many issues, either. My boyfriend has what my dad calls "a senisible, proper haircut", which basically means he's cut it short and precise and it doesn't need a great deal of maintainance. I like it, it's great for running my hands through. And I generally mess his hair around for fun... doesn't work that well, since it just "springs" back into place. :p
Men with long hair usually don't have hair better than women with long hair, because men usually don't take care of it. Take my hair for example. I hate untangling it, so usually I don't. Somehow the tangles eventually come out. I don't know how that works, but it does. I have dry ends on my hair, because when I decided to grow my hair, I just stopped getting it cut. Women actually care about their hair, so they get it styled and trimmed, which makes hair more healthy than just letting it grow.
Now that I think about it, I really should get my hair cut, because I absolutely hate having long hair. Too much maintenance. Of course, I absolutely hate getting my hair cut, so it doesn't really work out for me either way. Maybe I'll be able to sell my hair. If I make money, I'll have no problem getting it cut.
I'm female, and I have hair thats dyed a deep red/auburn colour goes down to my mid-back at the back but is shorter at the front so it shapes my face, its straight but flicky to give it shape and the long fringey bits naturally curve round to my ears. Its good as the cut and the natural flow of my hair compliment eachother.
When I was about 14 it was down to my but I had it cut as I was fed up with it being that long. It's been mid-back length ever since and is in much better condition!
I have long hair that i put in a ponytail and i think it is fricken awsome.
There are some people (especially in my area of Redneck town) who think guys should not have long hair and i just dont think to fondly of them. I dont think there is anything wrong with having long hair on guys.
i have a shoulder lenght hair and is fuller than my sister, and my hair before was very long, but i love my hair now
I'm a girl and my hair goes all the way down to my butt nowadays. Mostly wearing it in a ponytail, sometimes in a braid and rarely lose. My husband also has long hair and I absolute love it. <3 On some people long hair looks absolutely great I think, but there are also people where it doesn't look so great. Short hair or even a bald head can be nice too if it fits the person.
Right now my hair is shoulder length and usualy when i go to the gym or i'm just home i have it up in a pony tail. I need to get it cut and when i do i'll prob go back to how I usually have it which is short in the back and longer in teh front and its usually angles so kinda like a V. My friend will probably cut it for me though which i plan to do come october :)
Also, right now its my natural color which is a medium brown i may or may not dye it an auburn color for fall i'm still debating if i dont i'll prob do it next year i'm trying to let my hair get back to healthy lol its not bad but i used to dye it every few months last time I dyed it it was in april and i dyed it a dark golden brown which was really pretty.
I'm a guy and I have a crew cut. I never actually thought of making my hair grow longer than it is now because it'd be harder to manage. When I was a kid, I had pretty long hair and I got dandruff problems.
Shorter hair is easier to manage, and it feels good to feel the wind on the back of my neck.
I don't see how a haircut can be emo... But alright?
Mines short and spikey usually. I despise long hair, it's annoying to dry. ><.
I like having long hair, I had it done a while ago and the hair dresser cut it too short. I was sad, but it grew back so I'm happy now. It's about at the center of my back, I do need to get a little trim though. I'm kind of scared to because of what happened before so I think I'll wait a little until I find a hair stylist I trust.
Long hair on guys for me, is fine as long as it's not too long. When a guys hair is longer than mine then it just isn't attractive to me anymore.
Haha... The guy I like has long curly hair. It's past his shoulders right now. I think it looks so good on him! He is growing it out so he can donate it to Locks of Love. I think it's a great cause, but I sort of wish he doesn't cut it... I know that sounds so wrong, and I feel bad for thinking it! :(
I have long hair as well. It's straight and brown. I have the most boring hair in the world. It doesn't hold curl unless I spray a ton of hairspray in it, and then it just feels gross. I usually wear it in a ponytail, because my job requires that your hair be kept up if it's long like mine. I tried to jazz up my hair by cutting some bangs in the front. I did it a while ago, and I liked the results, so I keep them pretty trimmed up. Haha, the first time I did it, it was so crooked that I kept cutting until it was a little too short for my liking. Thank goodness my hair grows pretty fast.
Oh, just a little something else: I also donated my hair to Locks of Love about a year ago. It's already long enough to go donate again, but I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
My hair is black and about shoulder length or maybe longer. My hair is naturally curly but sometimes I prefer it straightened.I keep mine long because..i just like it that way.I also, when i cut my hair, donate it to Locks of Love.(Awesome right?:woot:)But overall my hair is up because it irrates me when its down.Weird eh?
All the way up 'till I was in my second year of high school, my hair was somewhere below my waist. I cut it short, and never once have I missed the length. In fact, if my hair grows past a certain point it'll gradually drive me crazy, until I take the scissors to my own hair and go crazy. ...I usually call my salon immediately afterwards, because of course the result isn't exactly desirable.
I've had many different types of hairstyles, and currently mine's kind of a messy pixie-cut. If I had to compare it, its closest to maybe Vyse, from Skies of Arcadia?
My favorite though, might be the A-line cut, its kind of my usual hair cut now. Every once in a while I'll change it up.
I'm a girl, and I have long hair loosely framed around my face.
I love having long hair. I trim it every month or so, and I deep condition it 2-3 times a week. I am very obsessed about my hair. I don't like to do anything to damage it. So I don't blow dry it, or straighten it. About once a year I will dye it. I usually stick with dark colors when I do dye it.
I can't stand it when women dye their hair until it begins to resemble straw. It makes me cringe a little. I always try and tell my sister to stop using such harsh things on their hair. My little sister must have dyed her hair 3 times in the past few months. So her hair is so damaged it crinkles when you touch it. Also, there are so many colors you can't tell what her natural color is. IDK. I love my hair so I treat it as best I can.
Run your fingers through it......it feels like silk. :-P
First off, I'm male. I remember that when I was little, my hair was always really short. Up until about fifth grade, I think, I started growing it out more. Now, my hair extends to my eyes, and sometimes even to my my nose. For some reason, its growth rate is surprisingly quick: I could cut my hair and have it grow back to the same length in just a couple weeks.
Im a male and my hair is just above shoulder length and its really thick!!
I used to have short back and sides and a bit longer on top to spike it when i was at school and now i have longer hair because i got sick of 11 odd years with the same hair cut.
As for color its gennerally a brown colour although in summer it gets a little lighter. Although Right now my hair is black with purple streaks.(i had my graduation and i wore a bright purple suit and so i streaked my hair the same color) ive had red streaks before and blode as well. Trying to decide what to do next!
I like having long hair although it is a bugger to maintain at times you know, washing, drying, straigtening all that jazz. if i don't straigten my hair i have a small afro :p

I am a guy and for most of my life my hair has remained long. It was only about six months ago that I decided to shave my head, figured that I might as well get it ready for boot camp.
Got it cut again in boot camp it wasnt short enough for their liking. I have been out of boot camp for a couple months now and my hair has started growing a little but it will never be what it was. It used to be almost shoulder length god I loved my long hair, sucked during sports everyone would always pull it and yank me around...
Being male I used to have shoulder length red hair(very Dave Mustaine-esque) which happened to be very thick and curly....which i hate. I had to get it cut for my school graduation and since ive been wearing it mid length as i cant go back to either of the two extremes. Im careful to part it in the middle as i dont want to be seen with an "emo" fringe.
