At first i thought it was some publicity stunt, but then I switched the channel and it was true. This is very tragic, I loved his music. He will be remembered.

Umm...
"rape" trials?
Not really...
EDIT: A 30-year old collegue of my mom dying because of cancer, David Carradine dying with a rope strapped around his penis and neck, young Belgian female singer putting an end to it, a professor of mine dying in his sleep, and now our own Elvis dies...
I heard about it at 6. Yet they confirmed it at 6:15...I think they mean the news stations got the confirmation. But I haven't heard an exact time of death. An autopsy is scheduled today so they will probably know the ToD then.
I never really listened to his music. I do know a few older friends who really loved him. it is weird when celebs go,they always seem invincible to us.
He was truly king of pop, but as a person I didn't like him.
He made some great albums and many love him and I will only remember him by that.
You guys are all answering my question about exact time of death, but you're simply forgetting the differen in time zone?
I read he died at 12:26, Los Angeles local time.
Now you can all do the math yourself.
P.S. Los Angeles, that's GMT-8, right?
I heard his heart failure was caused by food poisoning, 12 year old nuts..
:woot:
And who the **** is Farrah Fawcett? Seriously !
Oooooooh, that's bad.
So, Farrah Fawcett died and went to Heaven. At the Pearly Gates, St. Peter asked her if she had any last wishes for Earth. Being the kind, good-hearted woman she was, she wished for all of the world's children to be safer.
Two hours later, Michael Jackson died.
Farrah Fawcett was one of the original Charlie's Angels, with Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. She was also a huge sex symbol in the late 70s and 80s. Charlie's Angels was basically a T&A show.Quote:

EDIT: It's kinda sad that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died on the same day, but more attention is being paid to the child-molesting freak than to Farrah Fawcett. Kind of like how Mother Theresa's death was somewhat ignored after Lady Diana died (though Lady Di wasn't a child-molesting freak ... still, another good person's death was overshadowed).
And in all of this, we're forgetting about Ed McMahon
yeah can't believe he died already...
i remember when i was a kid when i watched some of his concerts on tv, alot of his fans where really obsessed by him!! wow!
when i was spending my week up at ASU one of my group leaders got like four text saying MJ was dead. Nobody believed it until later that nite when everybody watched the news. He was in fact a great singer and his music was cool. MTV and VH1 had a special on just for Michael Jackson.
RIP
Michael Jackson
The guy from pitchmen died a few day's after jackson, pretty sad
