Also, those lyrics could mean anything; a struggle to the wild throws of passion. So? Why attempt to find offence in that?
They sound like the line being blurred is the one where 'no' doesn't always mean no. Hence why lots of people, including the girls who made the video, find them somewhat suggestive of rape.
Of course, they're open to interpretation. I'm not one to put much faith into the idea that thought actually goes into the lyrics of pop songs.
Of course no thoughts go into pop songs. It's just easy money. But if #THICKLE wanted to describe rape, I'm pretty sure he could have done far worse tbf.
