I don't know if you've heard the rumours, but OPRAH is looking to run for president in 2012/2016.

Yes this seems outrageous and yes it seems like a lie, but many publications have thought Oprah has planned her democratic presidential push from years back.

The Rub:

Currently, (against obama's wishes) there is few regulations on campaign funding. If anyone has watched oprahs shows recently, she has given out rediculous amounts of money. She has been proactively buying votes from her viewership and will continue to do so until she stops her program and announces her running (then campaign funding regulations will be implemented).

The Reason:

Oprah got on by Maury Povich Means, she put on people who were struggling, but since she was a pioneer, she made lots of money and created an empire. Now she is all about "self help". Please do not believe her hypocracy and understand as a celebrity she can help but as a president she has as much knowledge as a rock.

Thats about it....

You just don't like her because she's a woman.

That work? I dunno ...

But you know it'll happen. People that support her will claim that the only reason people have for NOT supporting her is her skin color, or her sex. Just like the did with Obama. Because there's no possible way that anybody could vote against them simply because they have accomplished absolutely nothing but further their own careers, or because dozens of other countries through the last decade have crumbled because they followed the same political stances that they themselves hold ... it must be because we're racist/sexist.

Oprah is most likely a freemason and works for the illuminati so this makes perfect sense to see her running for president.

Well at the very least she might give free stuff to the electorate the same way she does the audience. Got that to look forward to, you americans. Its an intrinsically bad idea though. She has no idea of the subtleties required of such a position, and she would garner no respect from foreign diplomats who believe that she only got in by her TV persona and the huge talkshow following. Which would essentially be true.

What to look forward to during the forthcoming crazy years of her rule(dictatorship, cough). The crazy fanatical fans crushing any and all dissent with the fury of such luminaries as the SS/Stasi/Cheka. A heartfelt interview in a press gathering with Kim Jung Il and how he has thrived against all odds. David Cameron or Ed Miliband jumping up on a podium during a joint press conference and proclaiming their love for spending cuts or increases respectively.

The George W.Bush years will have nothing on this.

So this is going to happen in the next few weeks then? As far as I know (which isn't much) is that her show is done with by the end of 2010.

Then comes the mega conglomerate corporate network OWN or something along those lines. Mass feeding the millions on doing good deeds to make a massive army of Oprah brain washed zombies.

Seriously what happened to voting for the right person for the job? So much of this government has turned into a popularity contest and less about what is good for this country.

Fairly depressing if you ask me.
