I'd change my name to Esmerelda Boglemart. Some sick little part of has always wanted to. Just so I could see a passport with that on it and my face next to it. So that lecturers would have to read it out when taking the register.

Basically, a name that would cause a lot of pain and giggles.

If I were to change my name, I would most definately change it to "Marcus Aurelius Septimius Bassianus Antoninus Augustus Caracalla" and demand that everyone address me by my full name.

Seriously though, I'd probably change my name to Aurelian. It would just be one name, like Cher, minus the cheek bones. It is aesthetically pleasing to me both in sound and appearance and it was the name of a Roman emperor I like. That's the only reason. You know what, I think I'm going to change my username to that right now.

Or maybe I'd change my name to Megatron to combat that guy that actually changed his name to Optimus Prime. Seriously, some guy actually did, which is the coolest thing ever.

Uhm, well, I like my name. Although... one of my middle names HAS to go... Abigail/Abbey. I just don't like it, and it definately doesn't suit me. I like my first name a lot, though, so no changes there.

As for my last name, I'd like it to go back to the name it was before my mum married dad... My Polish Russian names. They were so much more fitting than some shitty British name. And if I got married, well, triple barrd name then.

I'd change my name from Michael Sean Patrick to Sean Michael, no Patrick.

Simple enough; my parents raised me calling me Sean, but Michael was my first name simply due to the fact that my grandfather hounded my dad that there should be a Jr. in the family, since my brother was named after my grandfather.

Rather than Michael John (after him) my dad named me Michael Sean, then my OTHER grandmother bitched about having -Patrick attatched to the middle, to make it "more Irish."

People get confused by legal documents saying Michael but knowing me as Sean. Credit companies get confused, as well. I have 3 things on my credit report that belong to my dad, one of which has negatively impacted my credit score.

I used to dislike my name when I was younger and I thought about changing it when I grew up, I wasn't too serious about it though. My Mother named me Kirsty because she likes the name and it is obviously special to her so I didn't want to change it for that reason. Now I actually like my name, my full name (not so much middle) but my first and last because they are rather unique. If I had the choice to change my name now, I don't think I would because this is who everybody knows me as. I do like my name so I have no reason to change it at all.

I've never liked the way my name is pronounced, mainly because everyone gets it wrong. Especially my teachers. But I wouldn't ever change it because I don't know anyone else who has the same name as me, both spelling and pronounciation. And because everyone knows my name now, so it would be a pain getting them all use dot a different name. My name is Halie, which is said like 'Hah-ll-ee'. The way I usually get people to remember it is by putting a 'H' sound in front of 'Ally'. When people have a name spelled the same as mine, it's usually pronounced as 'Hay-lee', and if someone has the same pronounciation it's usually spelled different. My name confuses people all the time. It's so frustrating >_>...

As for the rest of my name, I have two maiden names, 'Marie' and 'Julien'. I wouldn't cange the 'Marie' part, as I think that's quite pretty, and it reminds me of an old friend of mine. I don't like the 'Julien' part [which is said as 'JuliENNE'], as most people always think it's the male version of Julien, and scream "Ew!! You're a girl with a guys' name!!". It's very childish, and it irriates me >_> But hey, that's what you get when you go to a school filled with immature twats.

And my last name is 'Casey'. I've always wanted ot change it to 'Berry' which is my Dads' last name, and because then my name would be Halie Berry, like the actress I think that would be weird, heh. Although her name is spelled as 'Halle' I think =/...

Lily coming from my time spent as Tiger Lily on forums. I suppose it was bound to stick after being called Lily everyday by someone either on line or in real life. I Maybe I should add it as a middle name...

Finn is my mother's maiden name. I love it, think it sounds awesome. She hated it, though. Sad.

I can live with both my names, I can deal with my first - even like it at times ( =o ) and I'll prolly be rid of my last one day anyway.
In the mean time.. I'll just continue slurring my surname, because the mix of Australian and Scottish accents slurs some of my speech. I can't pronounce my last name properly. xD

EDIT: Oh, I should probably add that my last name is pretty commonplace. So I really should be able to say it... -__-

I'll be changing my name to Victoria Harlette. I would say it's for obvious reasons, but that would be insufficient. So I'm changing my name because I'm a transexual that's going to be having their sex changed.

I used to joke that if I married someone with the last name Lockheart / Lockhart, I'd change my first name to Tifa. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a ridiculously huge Tifa fan. That being said, it wouldn't really be that much of a change considering my first name is already similar.

I don't find myself saying it aloud at all, so I never really bother to prounce it.

I guess it would be Shay Day-ya, though. On a couple of occassions I said it how it was spelt, but it just didn't sound right. So yeah, Shay Day-ya (or Die-ya if you prefer.)

Well, Chez Daja is an unique and cool name
If I ever changed my name (0.00001% of chances of happening) it would be to my username, L Lawliet. The reason is mainly the same of the guy who changed his name to Megatron, he's my hero (fictional though). However I don't think you can have a name that consists of a single letter.

I'm fine with my name. It's nice enough to hear and not see everywhere but not random enough to noticed all the time.

My full name is Joshua Ryan O'Neill. Ryan I'm never called and it's mindless enough I could care less about it so I barely ever think about it. Josh is a good name. I hate the name Joshua, if anyone calls me that I instantly get pissed off. I mean written is one thing but spoken out loud bothers me, I like the casualness of Josh, simple and easy to say. O'Neill is also a cool name. It's almost too common but I don't know any other O'Neills who aren't related so I'm fine then with it. I also think it's the best form of spelling too. Oneal, Oneel, Oneil, they all don't hold a candle to it haha cause I'm a **** about my name.

I figure it'd always be funny to have 1 name, since I imagine it messes up alot of forms when you fill them out. Like Prince must have had a bitch of a time filling out forms with his name changes...or even worse when he went to a symbol...i I ever become overly insane, rich, and pretentious I'm going to make my own design and copyright it as a name, cause it's just loony.

But no really my names fine. I like it more than my brothers so I figure it's a 1 up. Shaun O'Neill is waaaaaay too common as a name it's pure Irish on Irish. At least mines a mix. I did always like the name Seth, it sounds casual and everyone with that name tends to fit the level of being easy going nice and fun to be around.

Though I suppose nothing can beat the name Damage Control (This is a referance only 2 other people on this site will get) Which evidently is legally someones name after changing it of course.

Maybe I'll change it to like Squall Strife or Ramsus Elmdore...ooh Elmdore now that's a catchy name.
