Well, since getting gas is equivalent to peeing with a penis, there goes the fun in that. Shake it when you're done etc....although, car gas smells a lot better than piss.

Well in fear of also being labelled a sexist, as a man changing to a women for the day I would also naturally explore myself initially, and possibly invite another female to help explore me. Before this all starts sounding pornographic though let's look at some of the other things you could do.
Get dressed to impress and go to a club and see if you can get through the night without spending anything.

You still haven't mentioned what would happen to hermaphrodites. Between one and three individuals per 100,000 population in every country are hermaphrodites. I feel that you're ignoring that entire demographic of people, and quite frankly, I find it a little bit offensive.
You may not believe in equal rights for hermaphrodites, but I feel that intersex oppression must end, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Come on Clint - firstly the thread is harmless, secondly, I think you already know the opposite of a hermaphrodite (another hermaphrodite of opposite stereotypical gender characteristics - which is almost what you already stated above) and finally, it doesn't relate to the question actually asked. What's the big deal?

If a guy was a girl for a day I don't even think being on fire would stop them from "exploring themselves" at least for some time.
I would do something like that see how much I can get waited on hand-and-foot for everything. Even if I wasn't a super attractive woman I'm sure someone would pay attention. Basically just be a bitch-tease and get away with it because that can't really be done by too many guys. Then if I get any sort of resistance I would whine about double standards and sexism and get away with anything else by making a scene (crying or screaming). So I guess just be one of those overbearing feminists.

Now here's where things get interesting. The concept of this thread is that every single person on earth switches genders for a single day. That means that even though you're a guy, when you wake up on Transgender Day, you're a woman, inside and out.
So if you're a gay man, that means that the attraction to the same sex would still be in your mind, so as a woman, you'd be attracted to women. However, if you're a straight man and attracted to women, then as a woman, you would be straight and attracted to men.
You can't escape your own cognitive behavior. If you want to be a woman for a day, you're going to have to accept the fact that you won't be thinking like a man. Of course, it's your own fault that all you people want to do is "explore your sexuality" as the opposite sex. Bunch of intersexist perverts.
I did not have that in mind, I had in mind that we kept our mental approach as now, which is why I stated I would keep to myself, quite literally.
And "exploring" the other gender to get to the point, doesn't mean being perverted, as I can almost guarantee that most people, would at least think about it.

The whole thing really depends on if you keep your same mindset, like knowing you're a male in a females body, or if you are also indoctrinated into that genders mindset, like just waking up and being completely female in thinking too.
If I were a male in a females body, I'd probably spend half the day just landscaping. I'm a pretty hairy dude. I'd also try to get my free drinks at a bar, and try to see just how much I could get away with. I'd probably also do like a thousand jumping jacks in a mirror, and then get myself off. Then, I'd probably find myself some good loving for the night.

In all seriousness though, it looks like something you're creating an issue that wasn't there in the first place out of a light hearted topic, which is kind of awkward and a little bit sad. I respect how a person can feel about an issue - but where is the issue?
The original question in the thread relies on basic assumptions - you're either male or female (sexuality is irrelevant for the purpose of the topic) and biologically you become the opposite. If this was physical possibly then sure as hell you would not think like yourself and I presume it would be incredibly disorientating given the differences in hormones and such and therefore your 24 hours would probably be wasted thinking what the f*** but meh...

As for this situation, I don't think I'd go 'self-exploring' (of all the possible euphemisms, this one sounds the most like archaeology).
Although I concede it would be interesting experiencing sex the other way around.
Mostly it would be interesting experiencing the world from another gender. I'd need more than a day to get a real appreciation.
That's why with one day I would really act without consequences as the other gender. It really wouldn't help to understand much so I would just abuse the opportunity.

Now that would be an honest answer. In all honesty, if I woke up as a woman, I'd be too freaked out to be sexually aroused, therefore I'd do something irrational, like rob a bank.
The only reason why somebody would become sexually aroused if suddenly transforming into the opposite sex would be if they already identify themselves with the opposite sex.
