I'm 17 and I'm a virgin...Its not easy. Part of me wants to wait but part of me doesn't. I could have sex with an ex girlfriend but there isn't really anywhere convienent to do it. I had the same attitude as that fencer guy does, I was just waiting for it to come to me than try and go out and get it.
Never. I've never been in a physical relationship with anyone, never mind one that got serious. Just immune to social/peer pressure I guess. I mean, I've never felt forced, like I needed to go out and lose my virginity just for the sake of saying I've had sex, or whatever other reasoning kids use these days. Honestly I'm just not really interested in it, at least not at the physical level.
That's how I am, though. I've found that I don't need to be around other people to be content. I don't generally seek out relationships with others, serious or otherwise. I don't shun them by any means, but I don't particularly feel the need to be social. Or physical, for that matter.
I suppose that just means that when(if) it does happen, it'll be someone really special, cause I'd never go that far otherwise. :)

18-29 year olds have sex an average of 112 times per year??? I average at 144, and I barely get any at all. That is really sad:( Once every three days is a low number....right? Someone help me out on this one because it honestly does make me really angery.
Why be angry over it? It's a natural thing, but if you don't have sex as often as you'd like to, it's nothing to get angry over. Unless you plan on just going out and taking whatever you can find. Not especially a good idea.....my opinion on the whole subject is that it isn't the most important thing in a person's life. It depends on the individual really. There are those that crave it, and those that look at it the complete opposite. I guess it depends on the age and obviously who you are with. Basically I think this is a ridiculous thread. With all that goes on in everyone's lives on a daily basis and all the problems throughout our countries, who cares how often anyone has sex. It's no one's business really. Do you honestly broadcast your sex life to everyone?? This one needs to be put back in the vault and left there.
Then why did you revive the thread, no one has posted in it in over 2 weeks. It was almost bumped out to page 2 and generally around here, threads are as good as dead when they hit page 2.
But to be on topic, I would have to say I am in the average area for my age. And thats pretty dang good seeing that I am married and technically the honeymoon has been over for a while haha. When I got with my wife I think I was averaging about 450 a year haha.
Obviously yes (general observation not soley limited to myself), people are more open now adays seeing that sex is made more public through everything. Sex isn't kept in the closet anymore, alot of people I know talk about it as easily as talking about the local football programs.Quote:

It is sad, really, that sex is so much more public these days. I might just think like that because it's not a casual thing to me. I do have a post in here somewhere mentioning sex, but I don't think I go greatly indepth.

I'm in a long distance relationship right now and even I average more than that. Although, could be because we take our opportunities. I guess it all plays a role. Never mind.

well i get it about once every 2 weeks. i have a bed buddy... who happens to be my best friend so it's not really wierd. it works out better for me that way. we don't have sex with anyone else so it's not like i have to worry about it being awkward.

Well after March 14 (an update from the March 7th post), I had another boyfriend, Kyle about April it was at least 4-9 times a week. We had a lot of sex. And now its been a little over a month for me because we broke up.
Well, as for me, I'm 18, and I'm a virgin. I haven't really done any really sexual. I've only had one girlfriend that broke up with me about a couple years ago. We dated for, 5 months if I remember correctly. The most I ever did was "feel her up" and make out with her. So yeah, not much compared to everyone else here, and I'm okay with that.

But I did have ALOT more experiance then it seems you do on all of the other stuff. Sorry for going off topic but I just had to congradulate you on that. Nowadays thats a rarity. I will admit I used women, but never once treated them bad in anyway, only because I was hurt and took it out on the wrong people.
I've never been interested in sex, which is odd, I guess, because it's human nature to be interested in sex. I've always been more interested in books and knowledge. I never wanted to go socialize with anybody, because, quite frankly, people as a group do stupid things. Plus, there's all those stupid sexually transmitted diseases going around, which can be prevented from spreading if the carrier wasn't so selfish, and stopped having sex. In this day and age, participating in sexual activity is a very stupid thing to do if you're not planning on reproducing. And even if they are planning on reproducing, if one of the partners is a carrier of a sexually transmitted infection, then the child is going to have it as well, which is very cruel to the child. I'm surprised that people with incurable STD's haven't been quarantined.
Whilst I have sex and like it, I agree with you about social activity. In fact, I have no social circle at all apart from my boyfriend and our friend, and even then, I barely see our friend.Quote:

I've had alot of sex since i was 16, through one night stands and in relationships, and i use to like it but it never bothered me whenever i had it, but during my pregnancy i turned into a right little rampant rabbit at it almost every night lolz, but since the birth i've just seemed to have lost my liking of it, i never want sex anymore, i don't miss it, in fact i could quite happily live the rest of my life without sex, but i dont half get a nagging of my partner tho :D

I think its sad that if your still a virgin by the age of like 16 theres "somthing wrong with you." I get alot of carp from my friends for not having had any but i don't get what all the big fuss is about. then on the other side of the coin i actually don't know what im missining out on. but anyway ive lost track of what i was going to say..and now i can't remember.. if i remember i will post back.

I've had sex quite a lot in this little life o mine. Though it's only been with a grand total of three girls. Everything else had been shenanigans with other girls, lots of triples and a fair amount of doubles, if ya get me.
The first two girls were girlfriends. The first during high school and the second during college. Neither of those relationships ended well, with me ending it with GF1 cause I was leaving for college, and GF2 was a cheatin ho. Needless to say, there used to be lots of sex with them.
Girl 3 was a random hookup. Definitely not fulfilling at all. In fact, I really get the impression that we used each other to some extent, so I actually felt kinda like a dirtbag.
The moral of the story is to only go for it if you're sure about them. Plus, third base is pretty damn good in it's own right, and it keeps things a lot less complicated.

Actually been about 2 years or so since I last did. I was in a pretty serious relationship for a year and a half, but that has ended a good while ago.
Pretty much, every single day at least once. It wasnt uncommon if it was 2-3 times a day also. So the yearly average is more than double when I was doing it. Ive had 2 girlfriends, but only did anything with one of them.

I'm eighteen, and I've never had sex. I've been asked out by a couple of Albany creepers, but other than that, I'm not a popular token with the opposite sex. I've never had a 'boyfriend' nor any physical relationship whatsoever, and the only guys I have ever kissed are family.
Am I sad about it? A little bit, honestly, and for the first time, I'm seeing myself subconsciously nominating candidates that I'd like to ask on dates or whatever. I'm getting a bit depressed about it, too and I'm not one to lie in dark depression. I can't sleep, I'm barely eating and I actually went to bed at 8pm, something I haven't done since I was 10. I guess it's been recent drama that's taking a toll on me, because the nice guys I've seen seem to be surrounded by truly vile people and anytime I try to get one alone, one of the vile girls seems to interfere. A week ago, I lost control of myself, and I actually almost clubbed one of the girls and beat her to a pulp. Luckily, my friend pulled me out of this. I'm in a bad state at the moment, so love for me is much needed, mainly because I want someone physical to listen to me vent, but even that is dangerous. If I get into a relationship now, it may be actually degrading.
Only once at a party did I ever get close to kissing somebody, but I owe it to my friend again that steered my completely wasted ass away. I wanted to get away from the guy, but my legs were like water and I was using a wall to support me and there were more people than I could comprehend there, so my head was spinning REALLY bad, so I didn't know what to do. Since then, I've been a bit scared of intimacy and being taken advantage of.
