    Hollywood Wax Museum

This place always creeped me out. A museum filled with wax models of people. Lovely... <_< *Shivers*
Anyway, so after 44 years they're holding like an auction for this figures. Or some of them at least o.o
I do have a link.. now hang on *Rummages about* Ah ha!

(Seriously... I dread to think who would buy Catwoman xD. Alien looks cool though.. I'd so have that in my room x3)

So I was just like wondering... who would buy one? And like... Who would you buy one of? It's a random thought I know... But I just thought I'd share it =^^=

I'd be creeped out if I had a wax model in my house. We have a place like that in England called Madam Tussards. It would be a laugh having Ant and Dec in the house, or get a Simon Cowell for my college's music department. I don't know how long that kind of novelty would last though as i'd probably get a bit creeped out by staring, glazey eyes!

As for the Hollywood models, Mr T or the Star Wars characters would be awesome! It'd be cool putting him in the room while we play DnD. The Batman and Superman models look really weird for some reason, although I hate Superman. He's a douche! Alien does look awesome- I would love that in the house!

If they make a Vincent Valentine one, I'd buy it. Then, I'd learn voodoo, and bring him to "life" and have his kids. =O

    Kidding! ^^;;

I like the Alien one, but I like the Terminater one too. I like cyborgs, and anything remotly Cyberdog'y. And with the high energy and bassy music. It's kewl. =P

We should make a wall of wax figures of the most badass characters of all time in front of a building, like a bank or something, and see if anybody gets near them!

I am going to buy the Annikin Skywalker sculpture. Then I am going to make a video of me wearing a ski mask, hitting it with an axe, screaming "THIS IS WHAT I THINK OF THE PREQUELS! THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE TO ME!" over and over again.

Then I am going to send it to George Lucas. That is a good use of my money, I'd think.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."

Someone brought up having one near their door. My former uncle used to own a life-size Jar Jar Binks like these and had it near his door, so whenever people would come over they'd get reeeeaaaaaally weirded out

I went to this place last year when I was in Los Angeles. It was cool. They have some really true-to-life figures, and some really shitty ones. I wonder how much they're actually selling for, does anybody know?

    Here's something I found on Starpulse.com

:: CALABASAS, Calif. (AP) — Wax figures of all four Beatles brought in nearly $13,000 at the first auction in the 44-year history of the Hollywood Wax Museum.

"The Last Supper" — wax representations of Jesus and the 12 disciples — commanded more than $15,000 in the weekend auction that sold close to a half million dollars worth of statues, costumes and other memorabilia.

Fans also bid on Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman from "Batman Returns," Charlton Heston's Moses from "The Ten Commandments" and figures from the cast of "M…A…S…H."

The auction was administered by Profiles in History and a portion of the profits will support efforts to preserve Hollywood's historic Walk of Fame. ::

I just looking at the Madame Tussards website as Storm mentioned it :3. Browsing through the figures they have there. Really impressive... and a little creepy. I don't think I'd like to visit it though... I'd be like terrified of them coming to life or something xD

Anyway to my point... I thought how cool would it be to have this guy with you:

Yes, that's right. Einstein baby <3

I bet you down in the basement of the wax museum is where all the waxed-out porn stars are! They oughta be interesting >_>! But wow. Wax figures of people. Awesome. I'd take one of Harry Potter or Ron Weasley. >_>. And Professor Dumbledore. And Hermione. And Minerva McGonagall. And Hagrid(Jesus Christ imagine a wax figure of Hagrid) And Draco Malfoy. And Professor Snape. And Professor Lupin. And Mad-Eye Moody. And especially Lord Voldemort. That would scare everyone off. I'd even buy a real-sized wax Hogwarts Castle! And everyone ever mentioned in Harry Potter. All waxified!

Haha yeah. I haven't been there yet as it's very rare that I visit London. From what I have seen, the models look amazing, so I would like to go there sometime. I can imagine it being very expensive though! I'd love it if they made a whole wax version of Battle Royale. I'm also wondering if Madame Tussards have made wax representations of the Monty Python guys? They've done a lot of cultural celebreties, and that would be great. Especially if they did them as the cast of The Holy Grail, complete with the Knights Who Say Ni and their shrubbery!

Einstein would be great to have I agree! Though The Last Supper would be really creepy... although you could have a laugh with that. Imagine having Jesus and the other biblical characters around your place with a KFC on the table ready to have a night of Tekken?

On a completely different note I should get tested for dyslexia... I just read "profiles" as porfiteroles". Oh dear... I think i'm hungry!
