I haven't EVER lied about my age, - and i don't think i would either... although a lot of people do think i'm at least 18 - not because of my appearance, but because of my really grown-up behavior... not that there are many 'grown-up' 18 year olds in my area, but thats what they say, lol!

To tell someone a lie about your age is kinda silly cos if yuo really like them, and end up being with them always, they will find out. Sometimes they won't care cos they love you too much, but there will be some who would see that as an insult to their love for you (telling lies in relationships and stuff, if you get what i mean...).

So no, i have NEVER and NEVER will lie about my age, lol!

Never did it, and I don't think I'd ever do it. At least I wouldn't trust a lot in someone that lied to me in something so basic like age, that isn't a good start for a relationship.
As for lieing about the age in general I haven't done it either. At least intentionally, sometimes for a few days right after my birthday I still say the age I used to have mainly due to habit.

I've never lied about my age; however, I did go on a few dates with a girl once and we had never actually /talked/ about our ages. I was 19 at the time and she was 27. She looked amazing, so I just assumed she was a couple years older than me, and she figured I was a couple years younger than her. Once the age thing came up in conversation, we decided that it would probably be best if we went our separate ways. Great kisser, though.

As I said I've never lied about my age however people have been mistaken either thinking I was younger (a year ago or so I did look like I was 3 years younger) or older (I'm 16 and I've been mistaken as being 21-ish in forums).

That's absolutely pathetic. Age plays a BIG role in todays' society, in my person opinion. I'm very agist, not toward a certain group, but I think actual personality takes a big part, too.

As for myself, for a while, I used to say I was younger than I was... I don't know why I did it, it wasn't even greatly far off of my real age, and even then it wasn't for "love."

If you really think about it, lying about ages to be with somebody is... well, just really sad. Especially if you realised you actually wanted to get serious, meaning you'd eventually have to tell that person. I don't know anybody who's ever had that problem, though.

I know a guy who lied about his age to buy a tin of Fosters, though.

I did know a couple, though... she's 14 and he's 20... They were truthful about their ages, and agreed not to have sex until it was legal, but... Bit sick? I think so. If you're like, 14 or 15, I think it's better just to stick with somebody or around the same age as you. I'm not one for "stomping out love", but I don't really know a lot of relationships with massive age gaps that actually work how they should... I'm judging this off people I've known.

Also, I'm of the opinion that men older than 18 seeking a girl of younger than 16 is a little bit wrong. That's classed as pedophilia, even if the people in the relationship don't see it that way. Oh, also, consenual age over here is 16.

I've been able to buy beer at ages 18-20 with no problem, and obviously now that I'm 21 theres no issue at all. However, the first time I didn't get carded for cigars was a sad day for me; it was kinda like damn I'm old. Now I kind of just relish it because I don't have to deal with the hassle of pulling my license out.

I lied about my aged consisently from the age of 14-17 so that I could drink in bars. Got ID'd and chucked out a lot when I was 14/15, but after that, I've only been asked for ID three times since my 16th birthday (and they were all occaisions after my 18th birthday. Go figure.)

I'd never lie to 'be with' anyone. Christ, if they know who you are, and you want to be in a relationship with them, your age is Basic Information. You can lie about Surplus Information if you like, but it will likely smash your 'relationship' into the ground at some point.

Lying about Basic Information like age just means you're ****ed from the get go. Perhaps literally, if you mean what I think you do, Ashely123456.

For sure, it's not a good thing to do and I'm sure when the other person found out about it, they wouldn't be too happy. If you lie about that then there will probably be more lies to come after that but it's not a good idea to do.

I've never lied about my age to be with someone but then i've never had too. Every older person i've been with has known how old I was before hand. If I was to lie about how old I was it would only come back and bite me in the butt.

If by 'someone' you mean 'alcohol' than yes. But then it was the seller's fault for asking in the first place.
I mean seriously, the legal age here is 18 but everyone drinks by around 12 or 14 or something. If someone asks how old you are and not for your ID, of course you're gonna say '19 mate'. Well saying '18' is just a little too obvious, and naturally you wouldn't be able to pass off as too much older. Luckily for me I've always been a tall lad.

If you mean as far as women are concerned, why the hell bother? Not like anything really changes other than the age of consent (which is generally a joke around here anyways due to authorities not really giving a damn unless either the magical word 'RAPE!' is yelled, or someone's parents really spit up a storm) and being 10 years older doesn't make you more of a person. If anything it's an indicator that you'll die sooner rather than later or something. Or that you suffer from some stereotypical age issues such as the horror that is impotence.

I have never lied about my age, but I have allowed people to think I was a certain age without correcting them. Due to the beard, a lot of girls have thought I was in my twenties, ever since I was about sixteen or so. I have never told them that their idea was wrong, but I didn't stop it.

I never needed to lie about my age before, but since I'm 19 now it really doesn't matter anymore. Even though I look really young for my age and such, the one time I bought cigars for an underage friend I never got carded, so oh well lol. and qft for the Priscilla, if you already lied to someone about your age that you want to be in a relationship with, then you pretty much screwed any chance that you are going to be with him/her. To me that would set off a red flag and after that idk if I could trust him/her anymore if they can't be truthful with something that is trivial like how old they are.

I can say in complete honesty that I have never had a girlfriend mainly cos I don't try, by my reckoning I'm too young to have a meaningful relationship and I'd really rather just be friends (If anyone questions my sexuality they're in for one hell of a shin kicking... To me the person getting to know who I am regardless of age is important. As much as people call themselves non-judgemental.. It happens. A girl can see a guy who's age she doesn't know and think "Hey, he's nice and smart", yet if she knows his age, there's a subconcious "..But, he's too old/young" on the end.

I've been told that I act around my age, and that I act far older than my age.. It just depends on how the person views me.

The other weekend we had a party at our house and some cute girls rolled by. We knew they looked young, but all the freshmen do these days. We started talking to them and we sensed something fishy. We were just asking basic questions like oh whats your name/ major/ etc just because we were actually curious and wanted to know. Their answers about college stuff were all pretty bogus, such as claiming to be a major that didn't exist or not knowing building names that are key. These girls turned out to be high school sophs. Not old enough to drive. How they found our house, I don't know. When we found out, we were all just like, you have to leave, right this instant. They were like "omg, we're so drunk, whos mom are we gonna call to pick us up."

We were scared shitless at that point. But they took the bus home or something and we're just glad that things did not go any further. Or else we couldve potentially gone to jail.

I also want to say that I think it's bullshit that it's always the guy's fault whenever something like that happens. It shouldn't be a guys responsibility to ask for ID when a girl is coming onto him. It also should be a parent's responsibility to know what their kids are doing, to prevent them from finding guys who just dont know their ages and wind up getting ****ed over because of it. Especially if a girl is lying about her age in order to be with him.

I lied about my age once. When I was twelve and joined a local church's Youth Ministry, I told them I was fourteen because I was far too tall for my age back then. I was pretty stupid back then so I thought, "If I told them I was twelve, they'd think of me as some mutant kid" lol.

But after I interacted with my fellow members a bit more, I felt kinda guilty until I finally let out the truth. They didn't believe me until I showed them a copy of my birth certificate (which I always keep in my wallet. Yeah, weird). And they were like, "The next Yao Ming???" Hahaha... but now I'm in the middle of a growth gap so my height's pretty much the same xD

But in terms of relationships, I never lie about my age. Sometimes I come into a situation: dating a girl for a long time but never even knowing her age and vice versa. Heck, at my appearance, some even think I'm only fourteen and wouldn't go out with me for it! But it's okay... ^_^

I don't need to lie about my age since at 18 I'm free to do whatever I like except homosexual intercourse- but i'm straight anyway! Its pointless lying for things such as alchohol since the limit is there for peoples own safety and to be honest, you don't NEED to drink. Lying about age in a relationship is the worst thing to lie about though since love is ment to involve honesty.

I find it amusing to see how old people think I am anyway. I've had a nice range of 17-22years!
