I'd go back to PBR but now its more of a hipster thing in my town to drink it. Well I guess it's pretty hip to ride the four loko train as well, which is probably why one of my favorite beverages got banned in the first place, so I'll have to suck up the hipsterness and go with PBR.

With the price of a $5 jagerbomb at the bars, I could buy two Four Lokos and get massively more messed up. I don't have the moneys for that, but yeah jagerbombs would be a tastier choice. A taste that is simply too rich for my blood

Well...yea. I do get that. Normally, it wouldn't make a difference. But being broke, as I have been over the last year or so. I admit, they were cheap and pretty loaded for the price. I'm used to having a wine palate and a champagne budget...and lately, having that removed...I guess has made me more realistic and well-grounded.

First off four loko is f*cking disgusting Rocky. I thought you of all people would have better taste than that.

If you think it's so disgusting, why would you stock up on it? Not that I'm calling you a liar (why would I ever do that), just thought that was weird.

Just so I'm on topic here, Sparks is way better than four loko, and I think a four pack will run you around something like, $8 these days? I'm not sure, I haven't bought it in a couple of months. That is all I have to say on the topic.

I'm not gonna call myself a 2 beer queer. But wouldn't call myself a seasoned vet either (alcoholic).

They're illegal in MA and the last day I got some to see the thrill. Well you would think vodka and redbull would cause the same affect. But oh no, this stuff is strange. It goes from just bad tasting, to a headache, then your stomach feels off, your heart starts racing. And you get the up and down at the same time. It's a weird weird feeling.

A guy who I believe has done stuff called it a watered down speed ball. I don't believe anyone could drink more than 3....4 max, for someone who isn't under 250. This is 2 in 2 hours for us.

The last day we had it we got 5 cases in and sold out in a few hours. They also went from 2.70-5.00 in one day. Yet people had to pay to see....except me

And yes in the end not worth it, bleh.

EDIT: Not that anyone gives a shit, but they're bring Loco back soon. But they're taking all the taurine and crazy stuff out of it. So when you see it back don't get suckered in.

I've never had the stuff, but I did watch a "Brad Tries" video about it. Doesn't seem like I'm missing anything, but it's kind of sad that people were basically drinking themselves into a heart attack (from what I've heard).

And as for why people are stocking up on the stuff: Years down the line, you can probably sell it off on ebay to people who are curious about trying a drink that has an alcohol equivalent to 3 beers and a caffeine equivalent to 3 cups of coffee per can (or so I've heard...again).

I think it's about four beers -- it's 24 ounces, so that's two beers worth, plus I think it's like 12% alcohol, which is twice as much as beer.

I've had one. It was a few months ago at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, while I was there for an EOCA class. I can definitely see how it would mess you up -- like a handful of Jagerbombs -- and it's pretty cheap, but it tastes horrible. I mean, it's bad. I drank most of one, then decided to let the rest of the guys I was with try it. Then I threw out what was left. I figured it'd be a good pregame drink, where you'll get some alcohol and some caffiene in your system before going out to drink or party, but no. I wished I was a dog, only so I could lick my own butthole to get the taste out of my mouth.

Well it is disgusting. The thing is that it is very cheap for a giant ass can of it. Lately when I drink, I have been drinking to get f*cked up. If I want to enjoy my drinking then I will splurge, but Four Loko is just to get f*cked up, and it is gross haha

Ok, that has to be the funniest thing I have read in a long time on this site.

I have never tried a Four Loco as surprising as that might be. Then again I don't drink to get screwed up now a days. In reality I have almost quit drinking all together with the events that have unfolded this year.

I wouldn't mind trying one but after reading the above quote I think I would be better off sticking to PBR and Budweiser.

As for Rocky, here in Oklahoma you can get a 32 Oz Miller High Life for about $1.89 each. Cheap alternative but you will have to drink more. I find anything larger then an 18Oz can I tend to just get the beer bloat feeling because I try to drink all of it before it gets warm and hammer them down hard and heavy.

If anyone was in the chat where I was three Four Loko deep, it's safe to say that shit's bad news.

It tasted like utter crap, got me ripped, which is never a bad thing, but made me hyper as hell. I remember passing out (not falling asleep) at my computer, waking up, and then falling into my bed. I woke up the next day with a hangover and the jitters. The only other time that's ever happened to me was the Fourth of July when I had 25 beers over a 16 hour span.

I wouldn't even know if it was worth the 8 bucks I'd spent on it.

I actually just bout two cans of it the other night. My initial intentions were to save them, or maybe resell them for a small profit after they're gone from the market but I'm not sure if it's even worth it.

No I like the taste of alcohol usually in my beer. I don't drink liquor because usually of the taste of some. I do enjoy some tastes of liquor.

I disagree with this. I happen to enjoy the taste of a good liquor. Get me some crown, some jim, and maybe a little gray goose, and we can get f*cked up to some good shit.

I will cave there. Crown Royal is delicious. Truth be told, I'm just being a smart ass. I love beer, and most liquor. Especially a good sipping whiskey like Crown Royal or Henry McKenna.

Also, Mr. Clean is remarkably smooth. Lysol, not so much.
