Get rid of my fast food? OH HELLZ NO! I'd start a riot, damnit!
When people think of "fast food", I think they imagine Burger King, McDonalds, Jack In the Box, Taco Bell, Del Taco.etc. But actually, you're leaving out the good places.. like Subway, Chipotles, Panera Bread, Pick Up Sticks, and many others I can't think of at the moment. They're soooo delicious.
Exactly...Take Away The Fast Food?! Hell-To-The-No...I like Subway...You no Take Subway away...I Kill You!!!...lol
i think i like kilala's opinion, it shoulld be your choice.... I believe fast food sometimes can help a lot for many many busy people who works everyday... but ofcourse if we always eat at those kind of restaurants it's unhealthy so definitely it's up for the people...but i think most of the fast food has a survey of how are they doing, and there's food infos about the particular food for example, french fries in mcdonald's. If can see the container of the fries about how many calories is it and some other infos about the nutrients of that food... you know so that people are aware of it!!
Honestly, i love to eat in fast foods, too...but i should be careful, the government should be more stricter of inspecting their restaurants, it should always kept clean...that's all that i can say about that and not against it!!
Fast food shouldn't be banned. However, the nutritional facts should be posted where anyone can see them. It's not up to the restaurant to make the food healthy; that would become expensive, which in turn would hurt the profit margins and increase the costs. It would defeat the whole purpose.
I also know in NYC that it's law that all restaurants need to post the caloric content of meals in the menus. I think it's a start to a great idea, but I think that there should be more initiative to get more nutritional facts in place... by an independent third party. I can see McDonald's "scientists" telling us that you can eat 3 meals a day from them and lose weight.
It is however up to people to use a little common sense. If you don't know that a triple whopper with mayo and cheese is bad for you, you need help.
Noctis Lucis Caelum, please post more than one line per post, it's called "elaborating on your ideas", a skill that many students need to perform well by the 8th grade level. And also, try not to post in other people's journals, that's against the rules lol. Figuring out the rules is important before attempting to do anything, it saves many people from going to jail, getting disqualifed, etc. [/life lesson from the mighty rocky]
People should be more aware of what they are puting into their bodies. Period. Though I don't necessarily think it will completely cause the fast food business to go through a decline, having informative figures of data translated into layman terms could help people realize the nutritional value (or lack thereof) of a Big Mac meal, which could in turn cause many people to reconsider. But then you always have people who's greatest joys come from the fact that eating a Big Mac is a treat to them, and I guess personal happiness should be the most important thing to anyone, so who are we to judge?
God I would probably die without fast food.
It's nice to get a take away and give yourself a break from cooking everynight, also when my baby is up crying for ages and doesn't fall asleep til 11.30, take away is a life saver.
Of course not, I couldn't survive one day on college without fast food. I don't have time to eat home food always so I relay on fast food a lot. But I have a limit when it comes to fast food, I'm pretty aware what's healthy for me and what kinda food I need to eat. Many people say that fast food should be banned but it's all because of those who don't know any limits when it comes to it, you can't eat fast food all the time and not expect any consequences.
I don't think fast food should be banned. I think people just need to be more conscious of what and how often they eat products from fast food places. It's all about personal responsibility when choosing to indulge in anything; fast food to alcohol. I think people in general need to learn how to do more things in moderation without those things becoming a crutch to lean on. I eat rather healthy, but I love to enjoy a whataburger with jalapeno's sometimes, or even worse.... Chipotle ! :-)
I'd starve to death if it was banned I think. Some days I can just NOT be arsed cooking, so Il go be naughty and get something ridiculously unhealthy
I dont think they shouldbe banned,at all. It's all about moderation. If people want to be fatasses and make themselves ill eating out at McD's every day, it's their funeral
What i DO think though, is they should stop advertising them on childrens channels or at times kids will be watching. I do find that irresponsible. I take my daughter to Mc'Ds maybe once a month at most and thats IT.
im abit naughtier and have it more often, but not much that wouldbe considered TOO often, like i might have fast food myself 2 or 3 times a month
