What is society coming to? Will this hatred ever end? I'm sorry, I'm not a brony, but this poor kid was beaten for LIKING a TV show. At least the assholes who beat him got the shit beat out of them too.

First of all, this is absolutely nothing. You linked to another forum, which links to another forum, which contains an unsubstantiated post about somebody beaten for liking My Little Pony. As was pointed out in the previous thread this crap was posted in, the original was crap, was called crap, and was closed, so it magically appeared in a new forum. And while not closed yet, it was recognized as crap at that forum as well, which is why it magically appeared in yet another forum. Where, subsequently, it's being recognized as crap.

Second of all, if a kid got beat up for something meaningless, he'd better get used to life. People get picked on every day for anything and everything that might be different about them.

And lastly ... what the hell is a "brony"?

I don't remember ever getting beat up for liking something different growing up, and I definitely liked things that were different. So I don't know if this whole "If you like different things, you will be beat up" theory holds water. Maybe it depends on where you live, or how crazy/big you are. I might not've been the best target for getting beat up.

Who beats up a person for liking something different? I liked all kinds of weird and different stuff and i got made fun of like crazy, but no one ever beat me up (maybe cuz i wasn't overly defensive about it).
