the appearance of 1337

So today I was driving to my doctor's appointment and I happen to notice on the back of this one minivan the number on the license plate was 1337 and i'm all like "Hey look, its the leet van!".

Where have you seen the number 1337 at recently? and did you think of it as the word leet at the time you saw it?

And I don't look for the word leet, or 1337. Anyone with a clan tag of that on MW2 or Reach gets mocked mercilessly by me

nah lol it was a white van and i'm glad i don't have the same console as you because i have 1337 on my id tag lol.

While I haven't seen any instance of "1337", my dad's code for the security system for his old town-house was "1337"; I chuckled when he told me.

I get the "1337" = "leet" part. Just not the meaning of it.

EDIT: Oh right... I get it. Cheers google. And no, I've never come across it. Or I did, I just didn't notice it to be anything other than four numbers. >>;

I've obtained that number a few times in a row recently in FF XIV getting experience points. I didn't bother to screen shot it because personally, I didn't think it was as epic as my lucky sevens (attachment).
