Synopsis
Nanami Takahashi welcomes the start of her high school life with great expectations of making as many friends as possible. There is much talk among the girls about a popular boy, Motoharu Yano, who has 2/3 of the girls in his middle school liking him. When Nanami asks Yuri Yamamoto, the girl sitting next to her, about Yano, the latter curtly replies that she dislikes him. Nanami is clueless of who Yano is until the day of the class nomination when she made a fool of herself by calling the name of her new friend wrongly. It turns out that she has actually met Yano along the corridors (unaware of his true identity) and he tricked her by providing a random name, resulting in the embarrassing incident in class. Nanami was initially mad at Yano but after a few encounters with him, she begins to find herself liking him.


anyone seen or heard about this anime? i really enjoyed it a whole lot. its more of a romance/comedy anime but mostly romance. there's a lot of drama throughout the series but its also really cute in many ways. i finished it not too long ago and the ending was ok, coulda been better. but nonetheless, its a really ejoyable anime to watch if ur a romance lover.

Yes, I read up to :/ 12 chapters which were available.
I'm a romance fan myself but I dont like the way Motoharu acts. He's only that way to Nana just because she has the same name as his previous lover. I'm guessing that he's not that into her
I didn't read the whole story so I dont really know how it ends. This is just a point of view from someone who's reading it as it goes along. But overall, it was sorta okay. It could've also had a better first impression. I found the first chapter ... well... slightly depressed, and empty feeling.

yea, i havent read the manga. i just saw the anime but the artwork coulda been a bit better and such. i agree tho, i didnt like how nana was reffered to his ex girlfriends a lot and i didnt like yuri. lordy she made me mad a lot lol

I watched a little over half of the anime and have put it on hold for awhile. I thought it was okay, but the storyline got really annoying after awhile. It seemed like it was going to be a great series initially, but after the first ten to 15 episodes the plot began to get boring, and I lost interest. Also, I don't remember any comedy. If there was some comedy, it must have been very little or it just wasn't that funny. I would much rather watch a show like Lovely Complex that has a lot of comedy, or an anime that just has better drama like Nana.

EDIT: Also, if I remember right, the manga hasn't ended yet, so I'm sure it will have a much better ending. I haven't seen the ending of the anime yet, but I'm sure it will be improved, or be a more complete ending in the manga.

Exactly , I do agree almost with all your speech
I was so excited when i watched the first 6 episodes but after that I felt like if they have no events where characters might be involved, they have nothing to show and they keep repeating the same problems happen between Yano and nana if I didn't forget their names.

I would much rather watch a show like Lovely Complex that has a lot of comedy

No doubt that Lovely complex is the best comedy as well Ouran high school

The problem is that i don't like reading Manga coz i love colors
and it is said the end of Nana was put in the manga only and so far I don't now the real end and was angry when I saw the last episode
still, even Nana which was so exicting has some repeated episode or what they call it revision for the late incedents as jon jan and her husband start discussing Nana's rediculous behaviors the matter that i don't like at all
any way , the character of Ren is what I like the most

The manga for Bokura ga Ita hasn't finished yet either, so I'm better the ending isn't that great, and it is either a cliffhanger ending like Nana is, or it just tried reach some sort of conclusion with the last few episodes. I haven't seen the ending, but I'm betting either way Nana is way better.
