One Piece is aLL about the straw Hat pirates who actuaLLy goes around the worLd for the search of Grand Line. I've been watching One Piece ever since.. it's a reaLLy cooL and emotionaL anime ever made.. The characters are very uniqueLy drawn and designed.. the story is very exciting, and fuLL of Lessons, an action-packed anime as it is caLLed.. So.. Anyone Like it or a fan of it? So who's you're fav. character? U can aLL express your thoughts here..
My Fav. Character is: Nico Robin!!! She's awesomeLy gorgeous, very inteLLectuaL and very thoughtfuL toward her friends though she doesn't LikeLy to express it.. she does everything to protect her friends.. especiaLLy in Season 2 of One Piece!

*Luffy --> Leader of the Straw Hat Pirate. Who has the power of the Rubber fruit.. giving him the wiLL to stretch his body LimitLess.
*Zorro --> The moody three sword owner.
*Chopper --> Doctor of the team.
*Nami ---> The very materiaListic woman.. but good in drawing maps and very artistic, she's the pLanner!
*Robin ---> The siLent-type but very inteLLectuaL!
*Sanji ---> Lover boy and the cook of the team!
*Frankie --> Another additionaL on the team (season 2)! :-)

I thought I was the only one who read/watched Onepiece...I love that anime though!! ^^...I started watching it back when I was 12 I believe then last year I started reading the manga...It's fantastic both ways and I love the story line to it, It never had boring fillers or anything of the sort!!
My favourite character is Sanji...I find that he's hilarious and such a flirt XD
I also like Zoro I find he has mad skills with his three swords and I find his shady personality intriguing ^^

Captian Shanks is the best One Piece charecter out there! Plus if you have played the game, he and Hawk Eye are ridiculously powerfull.
I also like Captian Kuro.(The man with cat claws.)
Loved the show but once they switched voice actors and stuff the story started to get wierd...I could not follow so I quit watching. Still though I loved it.
For those who may know Im going to ask, Does Luffy ever meet that one kid from like the first episode again? He said he wanted to join the navy so one day I thought he and Luffy would meet again.

Lemme see if I can provide some info about this.
First, I like to see every now and then the One Piece series, but strictly subbed. Their dubbed versions aren't as good as the originals, although the change of dubbing company should help (IMO, 4Kids was killing the series, much as it kills anything it touches) The original isn't as bloody or as shocking as the dubbed and edited version (the main point is that it makes Captain Smoker, aka Captain Chaser in the dub, have even more sense; his Devil Fruit ability is smoke manipulation, after all...), but it sorta kills the feeling of the series. One Piece is mostly comedic action, even though battles scale in power pretty quickly. I don't have to mention which: from the Arabasta arc against Crocodile to the most recent, the battles scale in power faster than in Dragon Ball/Z/GT.
One of the things I like is that it shows a hero who, despite being somehow listless and dumb-looking, he actually has interesting quips of brilliance. Luffy definitely counts as one of my favorite characters in most media if only because it's one of the few that can do a whole lot with one single power. Only a genius, a veritable genius can know exactly what he can and what he can't do with having his body made of rubber: from ignoring electricity, to extending his limbs, and then inventing Gear Second and Gear Third just for the need of having more power? Far as I've seen, only Magneto from the X-Men has that degree of "intimacy" with his power and how it works; that Luffy's apparent stupidity hides such a cunning intellect is a wonderful point from the mangaka. After all, it's one of my examples of excellent character development, as you always know Luffy is learning something new and that you never know when he's going to pull something that works.
If anything, my only concern is that it's taking the Straw Hats just too long. Each episode is a cliffhanger, you have a party that can handle pretty much whole Marine armies by themselves, survived so far about two Buster Calls, waves of overpowered entities...and we still don't know what the heck is One Piece, even though we already know it's not a material treasure (and it's probably a moral lesson or something, otherwise it would kill the entire feeling of the series) Not that the stretch is bad, but that it seems like they're stretching the story for its popularity.

I hate spoiling things for people even if they ask. I'll just say, practically every character in the series makes an appearance later on in some way or another.
Oh and the 4Kids days are long gone, boy, no need to call him Chaser anymore.
Speaking of which, it's amazing how Funimation have been able to turn things around. A couple years ago One Piece seemed doomed to obscurity. The kind of anime only hardcore fans would really know about.
But now Funi's catching up with DVD releases and are now even simulcasting episodes straight from Japan with OFFICIAL subs. They've got dub episodes on their site as well starting at Episode 1 (and currently up to episode 4), but they plan on releasing 3 episodes a week (2 old ones, and the latest in the Japan once they catch up)
