Platinum Demo Final Fantasy XV Revealed

Square Enix at the Uncovered Final Fantasy XV event revealed their latest demo that they had been teasing for the last few months. Working as a stand alone story and tech demo, Platinum Demo Final Fantasy XV will put the player in control of a young Noctis accompanied by Carbuncle to experience many of the different features of the game. Completing the demo will unlock Carbuncle for the main game when released. The demo is available to download tonight.

Already finished it up, it's nice to see the updated combat. But it is definitely a tech demo, where they let you see all of the different effects and things that they have been working on. And it was nice to finally see magic in use, though not really how you'll be acquiring in the final game. Still it is a good tease and taste of what is to come. Seeing the city that they've been doing tech demoes in for the first time hands on is so nice finally to look at. Game's beautiful.

I played the Platinum demo just now, it is very Kingdom Hearts like this time around when you compare it to Episode Duscae. The demo has much better gameplay, and, definitely, smoother and faster than the former. The last part of the demo before you complete it was my favorite part of the demo since it gives you more stuff to play with. I have really high hopes for the final game, from this, I am very sure that Square has learned from their mistakes in the FF 13 series, I'm sure 14 is a pretty good step up from that when 2.0 came around.

It's going to be interesting seeing what's going to happen to the FF series from here on out.
