Nomura: Final Fantasy Versus XIII "next reveal date set"

Final Fantasy Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura was a special guest on the latest broadcast of Square Enix Merchandise Radio where he was questioned about updates regarding the highly anticipated title.

ー When will new information regarding Final Fantasy Versus XIII be announced?

“It’s a delicate situation within the company,” explains Nomura. “The date for our next reveal is set and we are working toward preparing information for that. Perhaps the details as to why information couldn’t be released might be touched upon with the next information announcement. I’m sorry it’s already overdue, but please wait just a little more."

After the Roen website leak, there is a lot of speculation that the title has been renamed to Final Fantasy XV and furthermore, moved to Sony’s next generation platform ie the PS4. With E3 less than 2 months, away and TGS in September theres plenty to look forward to.

I don't see how it can be FFXV. Why would they have a game set in the same universe as another game and name it a different number. Whatever.

I said it before. I can wait, it's been long enough already.

Apparantly ff7 was set in "gaia" and if I recall correctly (which i might not be) ff9 was also set in gaia.

Unless they provided a name, I'm pretty sure it was just Planet. Gaia was definitely the name of FFIX home. If anything, FFVII and FFX take place in the same world. ^^

I'm pretty sure all the worlds in Final Fantasy are called Gaia unless said differently but most of them didn't name them. In FFVI it was just called World of Balance and Ruin.

Square knows that after making people wait this long and spending as much money as they have that the game better deliver. I trust Nomura to give us something good but I'm not sure if it can live up to the hype.

I just cannot wait for the next official update for this game. I am already hooked, and am so looking forward to seeing the changes that they made. FF in general is godly, and I am enjoying the newer titles. Cannot wait for more FF epicness!
