Final Fantasy XV Will Have a Simultaneous Worldwide Release
Tabata has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will be the first stand alone title in the Final Fantasy franchise to be released worldwide simultaneously. While the release in 2016 is still unknown, this should be encouraging for fans looking forward to playing the game as soon as it is available. In recent years, Square Enix had been continuing to push their efforts to shorten the localization window between the Japanese and worldwide releases with the Final Fantasy XIII series receiving the biggest push until Final Fantasy XV.
