Square Enix announced today during TGS that Final Fantasy XV will be receiving a new director. The man behind Final Fantasy Type-0 and the HD port will be taking over for Nomura. Hajime Tabata, director for Type-0 and the HD port, will heading the project with Nomura stepping away. Nomura will be putting his attention and time into Kingdom Hearts 3, which had been waiting on him to be finished with Final Fantasy XV before moving deep into production. As he will no longer be splitting his time, Kingdom Hearts 3 will likely start moving along.
