Out of all games, to me IX has the best soundtrack, closely followed by Crisis Core. My favorite song though is Liberi Fatali from Final Fantasy VIII.

I believe Nobou Uemastu said 9 was the work he was most proud of. I enjoyed that one too.

I havn't listened to the Crisis Core Soundtrack, but its better than most of the main soundtracks?

Keep in mind, I can only speak for myself when I say it's definitely better than what other games, except for IX of course, have to offer.

Legally? Amazon, ebay, some local shops perhaps. Illegally? Well, I'm not allowed to say that. You can always listen to it on YouTube, that's what I do. It's one of few things I regret not owning.

ya, i'll give it listen and get back to you and give my thoughts on it. I buy my music hahaha i dont download. i love collecting vinyl, CD's and cassette tapes, especially Final Fantasy soundtracks because i love the album artwork. i actually just got this in the mail finally on Wednesday, been meaning to buy this soundtrack for 10 years

Any Final Fantasy that has its music/sounds/audio headed by Nobuo Uematsu is always perfection. Definitely one of the best composers of our time. But for arguments sake, FFVII..I love the suprised look on ur face. But my favourite battle theme out of all the FF's is FFIX's. Theres just too many tracks to narrow it down so I'll just say I love Nobuo Uematsu. When Im not hitting the gym His music is the only thing I listen to...Wait I'll just put these:

JENOVA Theme-AC version (my ringtone)

One-Winged Angel (ringtone when my mum calls)

I enjoyed Memory of Lightwaves, it's too bad the rest of the X-2 soundtrack didn't sound like that. Is there an MP3 for that? cause I looked for it on itunes but could not find it. The rest of X-2's soundtrack wasnt my cup of tea, so i dotn want to have to buy the whole Cd for a couple of songs.

EDIT: i just remembered Yuna's Ballad was on that soundtrak, i like that one too
