Got two RE movies coming out this year. I am pretty excited for both. I was a fan of the animated film degeneration. I thought it was very good, and I enjoyed it greatly. As for retribution the trailer makes the movie look very good. Hopefully it will live up to my expectations of what it should be. I was let down by Afterlife.

Anyone else excited for these movies.

Can't say I'm excited for either one, though I'll probably end up seeing both. I'm still waiting for a decent Resident Evil movie, I don't have much hope for Retribution since Anderson is working on it. Damnation on the other hand looks somewhat interesting, I really do hope it turns out to be better than Degeneration which for some strange reason is praised despite being a bad movie.

The only Resident Evil movie I enjoyed watching so far, and that's because my standards were at the rock bottom, was Afterlife, I really liked Wesker in that one.

I'm finding it hard to believe you have been entertained by any of the Anderson movies and call yourself a Resident evil fan. He is taking the piss and robbing the easily amused of too much money.

Stop giving this hack of a director money! He will just keep making more shit movies!!!

And the advertisement for the new movie is pretty much a sony add, and spaceships......in resident evil....

I personally think the Resi Evil films have taken it as far as it should go (I think they did that with the first one...). I have never been entertained by any of the films, and as a Resi Evil fan, I feel let down that they keep milking this franchise like this.

I think the biggest slap in the face is, as wierd as it sounds, actually putting characters from the games in the films. It's like them saying that we have to accept these as tie ins to the games. I class the films as completely seperate from the games, and try my hardest to disregard their existance.

I really liked the RE 1 and 2 movies ..then it just went downlhill from there. =/

Degeneration is pretty entertaining. It's like watching a full length cutscene from the game. I didnt have high expectations but I liked it overall.

I'd still see both though.

Oooh Im excited! Trailers look good! I'll end up watching them anyway. I really liked the RE 1/2 movies but not the others but the casting I think is ok. Not the actingXD I like the casting for Jill shes so hot. Claire too.The character Alice is random but shes cool otherwise. Love kickass girls. I know the movies dont do justice to the videogames but Im able to seperate the two mediums cause I know I would like the movies as a seperate entity. And I LOVE the Resident Evil games (except for 5, God what happened there..)..Nyway I was SOOO glad that Nemesis looked exactly like..Nemesis(I loved being chased by him in the gameXD) and I liked that they included Executioner Majini wished he killed more ppl thoXD
