I dabble in drawing from time to time. I thought I would see what other people thought of my work. This first one is a pencil drawing of Norman, the fifth Gym Leader in the Hoenn Region in Pokemon Sapphire.

Iv'e tried drawing like this too. done a few a couple of years back but never kept at it.
Did you get any books to learn the basics or did you just copy it straight from a picture?

The only education I have had in art is from elementary school art classes. I had to have an Art class in order to graduate, but all you had to do in it was turn something in every grading period. There wasn't any lessons.

As far as this picture, I guess you could say that I copied it from the manual. I just resized it to fit the page. The original is maybe 0.75 inches tall (2 cm). I had to get realllllllllllly close to get the proportions just right.

Here is my next piece. This one is of Chikorita. Chikorita used to be my favorite Pokemon, but now I have new favs.

I always have trouble with faces, be it human or pokemon but you've done a really good job on both of them. Is it just me or does having Norman in pencil fit his status as Hoenn's Normal gym leader? Do you have any ideas for future projects?

I was thinking of making some anime characters (I like Bleach, Sailor Moon, etc.) Back when I was 10, I was a total Sailor Moon freak. I drew them all, and made Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto before they even had Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Needless to say my version looked horrible compared to actual Scouts. I have some of my old art projects from school, also. I may retouch them. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to tell me. I'm open to (almost) anything.

I was making a MS Paint drawing of a Final Fantasy character for this other place I frequent on the Internet. I started with the ambition of making Ramza Beoulve from Final Fantasy Tactics, but it didn't look good. So, I made Cloud instead.

I finally got my scanner working (user error), and so I have decided to upload some more pictures for all of you. That's right, I don't have to take a shaky picture of my pictures anymore.

I decided to finish showing my Pokemon pictures first. I have Azumarill, Cacnea, Pelipper, and Seviper. I am not sure if it's a Seviper, because I haven't played Sapphire in a few and I don't usually catch snakes.

Here's a couple more pictures. First is Tate and Liza, the Mossdeep City Gym Leaders. Then, I got bored while working at the office today, so I colored the picture in our paper's Easter Coloring Contest. Unfortunately, I can't enter the contest because I am an employee...and I am 14 years older than the max age limit.
