I finished the first disc of Excel Saga yesterday. It's a bit difficult to sit through, I'll admit. It has it's moments that make me laugh, but Excel's voice...you really have to be in the mood for it, I guess.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan: Although it wasn't exactly the best Anime I've seen, I still enjoyed it, and it was pretty funny. I'd have to reccomend this one to a good amount of people.

Naruto Episodes 213 - 215: I was extremly impressed by these fillers, they were definitely the best ones yet. Pretty emotional during episode 215, it sort of felt like it was a part of the main story.

I have lately watch Law of Ueki because Chase kind of recommend it. I haven't watch Tokyo Mew Mew even I was thinking of watching but...yep. I have watch Law of Ueki. Last episode that I watch was 10.

Afro Samurai. It was on last night, pretty stylish, far superior to Samurai Champloo, even if there is definite copying.

I just finished rewatching the first three episodes of the first season of Digimon, and I guess I never noticed this when I was younger, but they were... ah... kind of lame. They kicked ass anyway. It darn near brought tears to my eyes at times. There's a lot to be said for nostalgia, I guess.

I too finished rewatching a series:

    Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

Now I've like, watch all 50 Phases for 5 rounds already. It never gets old. The best Gundam series ever. The Opening songs are excellent. The character-driven plot are very well crafted and the entire storyline is just amazing.

This is soo unlike Gundam SEED Destiny, where I find it difficult to say it's a great series. Destiny just sucked. I'm hoping the upcoming Gundam SEED The Movie won't disappoint.

Guyver, for me. Not the OVA but the old series. I can't decide which one is better. Actually they're both pretty identical except, for some reason, the old series has a cool 80's feel to it. It's a comfortable violent rampaging Anime.

I remember watching the old series, it was crazy >.<. I have yet to be able to watch the new series. And yes, there is one with like 26 episodes called "Guyver The Bio Boosted Armor." I might try tonight XD.

Anyway, as for myself I just finally got in the mail my anime of "Peacemaker". After watching every episode I really thought they could've added more to it. Main character sort of reminded me of Ichigo from Bleach, just shorter. Overall I did enjoy it though. It was funny, realistic, and had some pretty good fight scenes. It just REALLY needs a second and maybe third season. When I finished it, it just felt sort of empty and unsatisfying. Still good though. 7.5/10

I just finished up watching Air Gear 21-25. Very good show, the last episode was fantastic. It's a good action style anime, with a few good bits of humor in it.

Recently finished watching the first four episodes of Cowboy Bebop, and i'm sorry that I didn't do so sooner, as i'm really enjoying the series so far. Brilliant stuff. Now I finally understand why people talk about Spike Spiegel so much.

Yeah, Cowboy Bebop is cool! You can't hate Spike...

Last Anime I watched was Generator Gawl. I love that series and I've only seen it a billion times (which is not nearly enough)

If anyone here has a chance to see it, DO SO!

    Since last time...

    Cowboy Bebop ep. 4-7
Ranma 1/2 ep. 1-4 (still good after all these years)
Great Teacher Onizuka ep. 1 (maybe not as good as Ranma...)
    Digimon Adventure 02 ep. 1

Last one I watched was Naruto Shippuuden episodes 1 and 2. After the long arc of Fillers it was nice to see the story progress. Though the beginning was kind of unexpected to say the least... we'll see how this goes.

Angel's Feather, episodes 1 and 2. Now that I have time I'm starting to watch anime again, and this was a random series I picked cause it looked pretty. >.> It's good so far, a bit weird though. Definitely leans in the general yaoi direction but not overtly so. I was kind of creeped out when I realized that one of the characters looks almost exactly like Sephiroth. o.O It's just a coincidence but it was still odd lol.

Well by this point in time, I've finished watching Hajime no Ippo on anime. watched the two movie specials too. I thought it was really good for a sports type anime. There was definiate growth and it was very entertaining in the humor dept as well. The drawing style seems a bit "old schoolish" but it's not bad once you get used to it.

    Air Gear.

It's become my favourite Anime so far, I really enjoyed the story and characters, especially how the Ikki, the main character, develops throughout the story.

But, when compared to the Manga, it's not as good.

I'd definitely reccomend this to any Anime fan.

    Gundam Seed episodes 1-10
    Trigun episodes 1-13
    Tenchi Universe episodes 1-10

Over the past couple days I've been getting back into anime, as you can see. XD Those are all series I have on DVD at the moment. I can't quite decide which series to complete first but I'm leaning heavily toward Trigun, as I have seen every episode except the last one and it's been sitting there, half-finished, for the longest amount of time.

Gundam Seed has the distinction of being the only Gundam series I like. Of course, I haven't exactly gone out of my way to watch the others but I'm not a fan of mecha anime so it's the exception, not the rule here.

Tenchi is just one of those series that's not particularly deep but damn is it fun. Ryoko has long been a favorite character of mine. XD I like Kiyone a lot too, even if it is mostly sympathy.

So yeah...that's what I'm up to right now. I'm currently debating whether to continue my little spree or wait until my next set of days off for a mega Kenshin marathon. Or I may even look around to see if I can pick up some new DVDs. It's tough being a natural miser with expensive hobbies.

Oou you've picked up Gundam Seed. xD It's a good one. So is Destiny, but the ending was kinda.. meh.. You'll see when you get there after another 90 episodes, lol. I really liked it, even it was a "retelling" of the original story to an extent. Gundam SeeD and Destiny kinda sparked that interest, that I should go and watch the Original Series that came out in the early 80s xD haha but I'm having trouble finding them online >.>; I don't exactly want to buy them if it's not what I'm looking for you know?

But yes, I've gone on a little spree myself, haha I've started to rewatch Full Metal Panic, which is another Mecha type, but they kinda added in a High School Comedic element to it, which makes it entertaining to watch, though it kinda just jumps from topic to topic, it's still good. I still need to finish Fumoufuu and the Second Raid, hopefully those'll be as good xD

I was watching Seed long before it was licensed in the US actually. I just need to pick up the DVDs at this point; I only have the first two at the moment.

Anyways, I just finished watching Saiyuki episodes 1-6. I'll likely be picking this one up too at some point. It seems quite fun. ^^ Hakkai is my favorite character so far. His crazy mini dragon-thing that turns into a jeep is funky lol.

I have way too many anime to buy at this point. ~.~ I could probably use up my entire tax refund and still only have half of what I'm planning on getting. Too many good series, dammit! But, that's just how it is. I'm not one of those people who can just download everything and not even care about supporting the company that produces it.

    Busou Renkin, episodes 1-8

The easiest way to describe this anime is it's a cross between Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach, or at least, seems to be from what I've seen of those two shows. It's also got the single creepiest villain I've ever seen. I don't mean creepy-evil, I mean creepy-wtf is he doing!? ^^; Other than Papillion Mask, I like this series. It moves along very fast compared to the last few anime I've seen while still keeping things clear, so it's not at all confusing. Not that there's much to be confused about...the plot so far isn't exactly deep. It's fun though, definitely worth a look for anyone who likes FMA or Bleach.

The last anime that I watched was I think Naruto? I don't recall what episode it was though. But it was cool. It was where the sand spirit had to fight the toad that Naruto had summoned.

    Guyver OVA

It's the first I've seen of the new version. I have to say I was highly skeptical, but I'm glad I watched it. It has more detail in the gray areas the other version left out. The English dub is much less annoying. Guyot's voice was absolutely brilliant; I couldn't put it any better than that. Mizuki sounds like Haruko from FLCL. Murakami sounded much cooler than he did in the old series, he sounded more realistic.

    Plus this series has Archanfel.

I just watcheed the Ultimate Hellsing OVA (Must be my week for OVAs)

Anyway. This one was better than the original, as well. In fact it may be my new favorite, who knows? They kept the original English Dub cast from the first series (which was already the best anime dub cast). And they animated them in yet a more creepy manner!

Wow. Just....wow. The plot really kicked into high gear, and it's revealing quite the web. And Papillon is still a crazy bastard. ~.~ There are so many dysfunctional characters in this show lol. Yet somehow...it all works. I am definitely going to buy this when it gets licensed. I think it's one of those "love or hate" series, cause it's definitely out there. Moon~!

This is officially in my top 5 favorite anime. It just keeps getting better with every episode. Sadly, there's only 2 episodes left in the series. I'm glad it's not one of the never-ending types (*coughNarutocough*), but it's hard to believe it's almost over already. Of course, the last episode was one hell of a cliffhanger. ~_~ I even like Papillon a little now. Mutou's really surprised me; I don't generally like obnoxiously loud main characters, but he's become an exception. Victor is just creepy, but for some reason I even like him a bit. It wasn't his fault what happened to him, after all.

Blood plus. It's pretty good but of course I liked Blood the Last Vampire and Saya is cool. In fact, pretty much any anime where there are vampires is okay in my book. I can't think of one that I don't like. lol
