I have to go watch 34 now. Hehe~
Well I picked up Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl yestereday. It was finally released on DVD Tuesday and I was able to watch past the first episode. Though to my surprise when I put in the disc and began watching it was in Japanese. I tried to switch it to English and found that there was only one audio track. It was released with subtitles only. It left me completely bewildered. I ever check the DVD case to see if I had gotten the wrong one or something weird happened with the disc. But they only released it in subs. I've never seen anyone do that before. It was put out by Media Blasters, so I don't know if they actually have a budget for dubbing. Oh well, it was still really good. And cheap, since I guess they don't have to pay to dub it.
It was my first Yuri anime, so that was interesting. But I bought it for the gender swaping, because I wanted to see how they played with it. Since I had been playing with it for a while. It was very interesting to watch and a lot of fun. Though there are some really wierd and creepy characters. The dad is really creepy, like child molestor creepy. Which is just creepy. Did I mention he is creepy? It is comedy, so it is funny, but just seems a little in poor taste. Oh well, everything it else is funny, if not random, but that is what you get in anime.
I can't wait for the next volume to come out, though I have to wait two months ; ;.
I also saw Prince of Tennis episode 36 I think? It was the end of the St. Rudolf arc. It was pretty fun to watch the coach Mazuki using all of his data and think that he was winning only to get completely destroyed.
Hikaru no Go was up as well and I think it was episode 29, either way I love the show. It like Yugioh, but 10 times better. Hikaru had his first game for the pro exam against a motorcycle rider guy. It is very interesting to watch, since it is Hikaru doing all of the work and Sai is just watching.
I also watched Naruto where they were fighting Orochimaru in the forest of death and Naruto is protecting Sasuke who is too scared too fight. It was a fun episode because you get to see Naruto pulling out the nine tail fox again. Though it is cooler with the red chakra and everything at the end of the invasion arc.
i watched pokemon battle frontier this morning if that counts ^.^
nah, i don't get to watch very much anime, except for what they show on tv sometimes. they took off shaman king after repeating the series 5 times, and stuck sonic x back on. (i love sonic)
used to watch dbz but stopped after it got silly with buu (i thought frieza was the best villain and anything after that was just getting a bit weak in terms of plot)
still, i wanna see trigun. a friend of mind used to watch it and says its awesome.
the last anime ive watched is Naruto.
a great episode, fighting the whole time.
The last anime I watched would have been Akira. I've been going through some old school anime and just watching things I forgot that I owned (not that though....always knew where Akira was hiding)...Next....hmm maybe might settle for Ghost in the Shell (not that old) while I try and get a version of Deathnote sent to Australia.
I've just wrapped up the first/second story arcs of Bleach.
I found it to be a most enjoyable experience.
I just got done watching Death Note. I'm on episode 35 and it's turning out to be really... well.. sad >_<.
Watched Bleach 130 last night and Death Note 36. I downloaded Naruto Shippuuden 18 but I've yet to watch it. Series wise.. I'm nearly done watching an anime called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Its pretty good, I'm glad theres a sequel coming out July 7th, because its only like 26 eps long.
YuYu Hakusho. I have the whole set on DVD.

- Tales of Symphonia ep 1
- Tales of Eternia ep 2
I've watched all the Death Note episodes that have been coming up on http://www.deathnote.tv lately. Just catchin up on the series I suppose.
Naruto Shippuden episode 19 and catching up on my Bleach. That's about it. ^__^
Mmm, I just watched Bleach 132. Good stuff. Hitsugaya pwns in soccer! FTW?!?!
I watched the full Pokemon 1st Series with the Indigo League a couple of week back. I should watch more anime, maybe I should watch Trigun again, I love that series.

Okay, I've been a little behind
One Piece Movie 6: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island:
Oh man! Not only does this rank as one of the best OP movies (next to 4), but it's definitely one of the nicest looking ANIME movies I've seen in a while, and I recommend it highly even to those who aren't OP fans.
This movie is so DARK by the series' standards, it's actually kind of scary. It's supposed to be a director's allusion to his time working at Studio Ghibli and having an argument with Miyazaki and then quitting back to Toei Animation. Overall, great story, soundtrack, and some lovely and fluid animation that really departs from the TV series' style (unlike the other movies which is just the TV Animation polished up).
PLEASE FUNI PUT THIS OUT ON DVD!!
Beck - Episodes 23-26
Well I'm not going to spoil anything, but Beck wraps up quite nicely. As I've said before, I'm not into that Rock Sub-culture, but Beck was such a pleasant surprise. Definitely buying the DVDs
One Piece - Episodes 224-314
Now how's THAT for an Anime Binge? I realized now, that Kaizoku Fansubs has pretty much caught up with the other major Fansubs, so I started downloading all the new Episodes and now, for the most part, pretty caught up (now I just need to catch up in the Manga to prevent future spoilage).
Man! Just when I thought it couldn't get darker than Movie 6, stuff like CP9, Water 7, and Enies Lobby happens. And Aokiji is the FREAKIN' MAN! Well and Franky too. And HOLY CRAP @ Gear Second. Lots of great stuff here, glad to be a OP fan.
EDIT: Also wanted to add that I saw Special 4. And I LOVE the Alternate Universe Oyabun episodes. The cameos are great, and Rika is just the most adorable OP character ever!
One Piece Movie 7: Karakuri Castle's Mecha Giant Soldier
Not as good as Movie 6, but I had heard of all the crazy fanservice, so I went in expecting the worst, and it's really not that bad at all. The first 20 Minutes are simply "WTF?!" with all the bouncing (SFX Included!). But then I thought the movie was actually pretty good aside from the weird way Nami's Breasts are drawn. It still animates and looks smooth, and the plot certainly wasn't terrible. If they just got rid of the dumb fanservice and didn't have Chopper's grating substitute VA, it would've been higher on my list.
So far, with all the OP movies, I'd rank them like this (Worst to Best):
1 < 3 < 7 < 5 < 2 < 6 < 4
Bleach - Episode 40 Dub
Yeah I've been watching the Bleach dub, and well, I don't see what the fuss is about. It's just okay. It feels same old same old to me. I feel like the pacing is off as they try to throw ALL these characters out at you expecting you to keep track. I dunno I just hate seeing a new Soul Society member thinking "Hmm I'd like to know more about him/her" and they just throw in completely new character.
Plus I like Rukia and all, but after watching Enies Lobby in OP (very similar and comparable). She's kinda weak (although I have to say I didn't see her past with Ganju coming). She just sits in a cell a sulks "poor me" compare that to... well I won't say, because I don't want to spoil people. But I will say an Army of Pirates, Carpenters, and Dismantlers is WAYY cooler than a bunch of kids and a cat tackling a large compund. It's just more epic.
WHAT? There are OP movies? REALLY? I didn't know that. Can you get them at a video store like the Naruto movies?
Ruroni Kenshin Season 3

Today was actually a rather anime-centric day for me today. For starters, I watched the latest episode of Claymore (ep. 18), which wasn't as intense as the previous episode, but certainly set up things to be very interesting in the next episode or two. It's also nice to see some of the previous people making comebacks--anime always scores points with me when they bring people back from previous storylines, so that made me happy.
Also, I watched the first DVD of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! I've wanted to watch it for over a year now, and if it continues to be as wonderfully entertaining as the first DVD was, I may just have to invest in buying it myself (the copy I watched today was borrowed from a friend of mine).
Lastly, I just watched the latest episode of Bleach (ep. 44) on Adult Swim. Though I've missed the episodes the past few weeks, I was glad to be able to catch this one, as I was tipped off by a friend that it would be pretty crazy, and indeed it was. In fact, it may be my favourite episode yet, so that, too left me feeling very satisfied.
All in all, it was a very good day for anime!
Naruto Shippuuden episode 10. *glomps Neji*
The Cat Returns was my most recent
it was decent, my sister was the one who really wanted to watch it though, before that it was Family Guy ^^
my favorite TV Show...
and before that was probably Howls Moving Castle
It's funny I just watched Cat Returns.Quote:

Porco Rosso: Awesome, awesome film. I think I could safely say this has become one of my favorite Ghibli/Miyazaki films. Flying fighter planes have never been so cool.
Whisper of the Heart was disappointing. I think it's actually intended more for girls because it involves a a young girl trying to find her place, growing up, and falling in love. I felt it was really slow and gives you a real WTF? ending that just seemed to come out of nowehere. I think I was expecting something whimsical in true Miyazaki fashion and was disappointed by it's more "BECK-like" realism.
The Cat Returns is a sort of followup to WotH which I found to be MUCH BETTER. Stellar cast , vivid visuals, and great humor. Now THAT'S the type of film I like seeing. Only problem? It's just too damn short. Whisper of the Heart was 2 hours and I feel like only the last hour of the movie was good, while Cat Returns is only half of that, a tiny bit over an hour. A real shame, but go see it anyway it's GOOD.
Sadly no, none of them are released in the US as of yet. Funimation is going to release Movie 8 next year and eventually the other movies I'm sure afterward.Quote:

And that reminds me:
One Piece 315-318: A big plot twist that I was half spoiled on already, but the other half I wasn't and was quite surprised. And just like episode 151, 316 is a real "hardcore Pirate episode" whereas people who say OP isn't about "Real" pirates I would say watch THIS episode and tell me that again. Shanks and Whitebeard are godly. 317 and 318 are just fairly forgettable filler with a couple humorous bits.
Bleach (English dub): I have to say I'm warming up to Bleach a little more than my last post. The fight with Uryuu and the freaky scientist guy was cool, and I'd have this more than ever solidifies Uryuu being my favorite character thus far. Plus I was quite surprised with Yoruichi's real form. Made me go, "Why hello there..."
Desert Punk 1-4: I have to say right now I feel kinda iffy about this series. Some parts are great and some parts I ask myself "Why am I watching this?" Since I have Intelliflix now, I've put in a request to get the actual DVD. After seeing the bloopers, I really want to see the dub. I have a feeling I might enjoy it just a little more.
I honestly loved Whisper of the Heart, maybe because I'm a writer, maybe because there's a girl inside me, but I found it really touching and inspiring as far as writing goes.
And One Piece really is getting great. And yes, 317-318 were filler that I was disappointed with. I hope 319 isn't filler.
And I saw the whole Desert Punk series and loved it.
Hmmmm, last anime I watched was Zombie-Loan episodes four and five. It's a great series brought to you by Square-Enix. Involves two "zombies" who go out and slay other zombies to pay back the FerryMan so that they may be "revived". It's a great show whit good action.
www.crunchyroll.com Check it out there.
I just finished Chrno Crusade. It was alright, but nothing special. Hilary's voice (Rosette) began to grate on my nerves rather quickly, but Greg's voice (Chrono) and whoever the voices of Ion and Remington were worked quite well. The latter two especially. The story started off kind of bland, but got a little better towards the end. I mean a little because it still wasn't awe inspiring. A good watch, but I wouldn't spend $50 on it. Thank goodness for borrowing from friends.
Fansubbed Japanese Bleach. Episode 50. And WTF was with that Hollow?
It had issues....
