The first Ghost in the Shell movie, it's pretty good, looks impressive for it's age, though I think I would appreciate it more if I watched any of the series or read manga.

Ongoing anime series currently watching: Yu-Gi-Oh! on The CW 4Kids, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds on Cartoon Network, Pokemon (The Johto arc) on Boomerang and Pokemon: DP Galactic Battles on Cartoon Network.
Anime film seen recently: Robotech II: The Sentinels. <-- Will re-watch both that film and The Shadow Chronicles on Saturday to commemorate Carl Macek's funeral. :(
hmmmm the last anime i whatched was............................................... .............................hmmmmmmmm............ .................................................. ........i cant remember...(its been that long) i think it was bleach or death note
Would Winx Club count as anime? :p
Just got a little more caught up on some Naruto Ship. wanna say epids 156-158
Just got finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, and I also watched the follow-up movie of End of Evangelion (whose purpose was either to change the ending of the series or explain what the heck happened...I'm still not sure about it...).
Gotta say, I was really into what was going on for the first 20 or so episodes. The Angels were cool, and it was interesting to see how Shinji and co. had to work out just how to defeat each Angel, and the character interactions were interesting, Asuka being my absolute favorite in the series. :)
HOWEVER...
Cut to the episodes after that, and then things start to get reeeeeaaaally dark and heavy...and it was that sort of change that really took me out of the series. I'm sure that there are those who can look into the series a lot more deeply than I, and find the message that was trying to be conveyed, but since I'm pretty much a casual watcher of Anime (and I'm not all that knowledgeable of human psychology and religious jargon), the message was lost on me.
Oh, and they also totally swept Asuka to the side when she had her mental breakdown... That's another reason I don't care for the last few eps. of the series. The movie somewhat makes up for that, but then she still doesn't get the sort of screen time that I think her character deserved.
Full Metal Alchemist ep. 1-8
thats it really in the past week
i read manga more than watch anime
Ouran High School Host Club episode 25
Dante's Inferno, now I don't have to play the game, not that I intended to. Some parts were fast paced but besides that it was OK, multiple different styles through the movie were nice to see, though I already saw a similar approach in few other movies.
I watched the anime of Dante's Inferno before I bought the game. I enjoyed the anime so I went, and bought the game. Good choice on my part.
Like most people I am currently watching Naruto Shippuden, and FMA Brotherhood. Brotherhood is good cause it is gives you a chance to look deeper into the episodes of the original series. Naruto Ship is good, cause well it's Naruto damnit.
I've been re-watching Bokurano, and I am still enjoying it this time around. Its about a group of kids who unknowingly sign a contract that binds them to piloting a giant mech, and must fight other mechs from other planets. Victory means your planet doesn't get "erased" by a higher power. Losing earns you the opposite. The catch is, the mech is powered by using the current pilot's life force, so after each battle is done, the pilot dies.
It brings to mind what you would do if you were put in that situation, and its also interesting seeing how dysfunctional and "messed up" each kid's life is, and how they spend their remaining days, and which ones are determined to live while others question the morality of killing another planet to save their own. I wouldn't call the series "brilliant" or "ground-breaking" or anything, but I definitely liked it enough to watch it all over again, and would buy it if it was ever localized (doubtful).
Gundam Seed destiny: just finished watching
just started watching Mayoi Neko Overrun.
the last one i watched was buso renkin
The last anime I watched was Kirarin Revolution not exactly what I usually watch but I'm a sucker for good chibi and that anime has ALOT!! ^_^ I wanna watch Elfen Lied next.
I've been watching RAINBOW the past couple weeks and it is not exactly what I expected. It is pretty good, but it is definitely made for an older audience. I'm starting to feel really sorry for the main characters. Most of them committed the crimes they did for good reasons. Also, it is just getting so bad for the boys.SPOILER!!:
This isn't the usual kind of anime that I watch, but I think it really shows how horrible this time period was in Japan. I keep watching the next episode hoping that things will improve, but they only get worse. :( It's exactly what's expected, but it still works at getting my attention.
Shugo Chara
Buso Renkin ep. 1
I'm up to episode 4 of Gankutsuou. I like the artstyle that they used in the series. :D The story is pretty good too. I love the twist that was done with The Count of Monte Cristo, because it's familiar but it's also pretty different, so it stays interesting.
Baka to Test Shoukanjuu full
Hidden God full
Omamori Himari 10 minutes in
Umineko 10 minutes in
---I never thought these cartoons/they called anime "a tidal wave of animation"/ could be so entertaining.
I tried to give you some rep, but apparently I don't give it out enough because I can't give you anymore yet. Anyways, Gankutsuou is such a good series, they did a superb job with the anime! I think it was much better paced than the book honestly. And the artstyle is so pretty! I hope you enjoy the series as much as I did.
I watched the majority of this anime in the past three weeks! :D I started the anime a long time ago and stopped because I got bored of it, but then I continued on recently and couldn't stop watching. It was slow to start, but the plot started to pick up pretty quickly. I liked the art style at some points, but it was annoying at others. My opinion is pretty mixed on that aspect, but otherwise I found it to be quite entertaining. The mechs are a little weird, though...
Gurren Lagann
episode 2 :D
I personally dislike mecha anime but this one is rlly great XD
Just watched Black Lagoon The Second Barrage and FLCL. My only gripe with either of them was they were both too damn short. :D
With Black Lagoon I like the realistic touch present at times coupled with the fantasy prsent at times. It makes things seem that little bit grittier and engages me more. With FLCL I was constantly thinking 'WTF' in a good way and it's randomness was extremely entertaining. I wouldn't be surprised if the constant shifts could even engage those with two second attention spans...
seto no hanayome ! haha its hard to find anime great like this one, the humor is awesome
Well, I'm back to watching Nana. I left off at episode 9, took a break from watching it, and now I'm on episode 17. I still have a long way to go before I finish it, because there's like 47 episodes in the series... I suppose that makes for good character interaction and development.
I also watched FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, episodes 55 and 56. I'm pretty much watching that when new episodes come out, so I can't do a straight run of it like other anime I've watched, but I don't mind.
I am currently watching the english dubbed version of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, I'm only on episode 4, but I have laughed so many times while watching it XD
The last anime that I watched was the whole series of the anime Karin (Chibi Vampire). This anime is a great series, what a great story about a vampire that doesn't suck blood, but gives blood to her victims.
xxxHOLiC Shunmuki and Tsubasa Chronicle Shunraiki.
Why did they have to skip over the best two worlds in Tsubasa Chronicle? :< This is quite disappointing. Infinity and Celes should have been animated before they even went to this. :blowtop:It is still very good even if it is less exciting than what was skipped, though.
Currently watching Ghost Hound which is incredibly interesting and thought invoking
The last one I watched was Durarara. I don't remember which episode, though. :D
