I've seen this movie the other day and I have to say it was quite enjoyable, I don't know shit about Green Lantern which is probably why I enjoyed it in the first place as I couldn't nitpick it like other comic book movies.

Ryan Reynolds did his role pretty well, I guess, Mark Strong on the other hand is one of those actors that keeps impressing me more and more with every new movie he appears in. They really need to ensure he's Sinestro again if they ever decide to make a sequel, or even a reboot, I don't really care as long as he's in.

One thing I didn't really like was the final battle against Parallax, for a being that devoured several civilizations and some of the best Lanterns he was defeated way too easily, maybe if Sinestro and some of his Lanterns joined in, otherwise it was kinda lame. One more thing, I couldn't get rid of this feeling that everything was just rushed a bit, other than that it was a pretty decent movie. I personally place it over Thor, but miles below X-Men First Class, I haven't seen Captain America yet but I tend to do so one of these days.

So, what do you guys think? Were reviews right by calling Green Lantern one of the worst comic book movies, or was it actually good?
