Well, as a couple of you have probably already seen, I started FF14 a little less than a month ago. I know I said I'd be playing on both servers, but I've just been so busy on Behemoth that I haven't had time to play on Ultros. I set some crazy goals up for myself, and so this is the result. ^^; I did create my character on Ultros, I simply haven't had the chance to play it yet.

In short, I have started an FC on Behemoth. It currently only consists of my friends and me, but I will be actively looking for members soon, now that I'm nearing endgame. The insane part of my goals is that I'm aiming to get a large house for my FC.

I hope that once things die down, I will have chance to play with you guys at least a little. And I hope things are going well for you. ^^

No worries! You should have convinced all your friends that Ultros was the better option to start on, though

We're about 25% of the way to large housing now, and that's with rather mediocre deposits into the company chest thus far.

Hah. ^^ Unfortunately, two of them were already quite set up in Behemoth, with one of them having all classes at level 50. I also thought I might have a few more allies on the server when I first started, but that proved false.

We are nearing 10% for our large, but soon my gil making will increase greatly. It's nice to know you guys are also aiming for a large. Have you picked a plot yet? Really is a shame that I had people split on different servers. I would have been able to give some very large donations.

Can I just wolrd transfer my character to Ultros? And can I world transfer as many times as I want? Will I lose my retainer if I world transfer?

Probably not a point of concern, but there is a limit to how much you can transfer in your gil reserves. I believe the link Loco gave you says. But you can just convert gil into goods and then sell that over on the place you transfer. But I figured I'd mention that just in case.

I may join ultros in the future because it would be great to play with all of you and help you out with raids etc. I want to get my character a little more experienced in different areas before I make the move though.

You're always welcome on Ultros and the FC. So if you do decide to transfer at some point, just send Loco or I a message and we'll get you invites quickly.

You have no idea how much I want to play with you. But I just can't transfer without my friends coming along as well, and it'd be too much to ask them to come with me. The cost is one of the issues. I don't want to ask them to have to pay that when they don't really share my reasons for transfer. The other is that at least one of them has friends on the server, so I'd be asking him to abandon them, or I'd have to abandon him.

I'd say maybe in the future it would be possible, but by then we might already be even more settled down here. Ah, how I wish this was simpler.

The gil restriction would also be a problem. If I transfer in the future I'd be looking at transferring 10's of millions. lol

Well like I said, invest your money into something. ;p Then you can sell it. Just find things they are equal or near equal value on both servers so you're not losing money.

But we'll still be here. So whenever you have time to visit. We aren't going to pressure you into moving, well I won't at least. I can't speak for anyone else. The only one that we're pressuring right now is Dawezy to get his Manthra rear over into XIV. ;p Loco submits status reports on the enemy's status. ^^ The operation can't fail.

Just have fun. As long as you are enjoying yourself in the game that's what matters the most.

Fluffy, you could always just transfer once your friends eventually give up on playing! That's how I ended up with half of my friends on Shiva in the old FFXI days.

It's surprisingly easy if you're consistent or on a lot. If played a ton I probably could do that. I'd be crafting a ton. But even without crafting for the point of making money I've still made over 6 million gil since I started in August. When I finish my PLD, I'm planning on going more focused on gil so we can get our house.

What can I craft with a lvl50 weaver that will sell and make me lots of gil?

Weaver I think it is a good pick since it over laps with a good amount of jobs. But Goldsmith, Leathercrafter and Blacksmith would all be good picks as well for different reasons. If you can make 3 star items they sell for a ton.

I would love to join you guys in Ultros, but honestly RP is just the single biggest thing keeping me in the game. Hence, Balmung is my one and only option. I've got skype and steam, though.

You're welcome to just make an alt on Ultros if you ever want to hang out, not do anything to stressful. But like I told Fluffy, having fun in the game is the most important thing. I won't try to drag anyone from their servers. I want to keep playing and enjoying yourself in a way that works for you. Doesn't always mean we're all on the same servers.
