Sazh Returns and Fang Teams Up with Lightning

A new trailer came out of Gamescom, the largest games conference in Europe, from Square Enix for their upcoming Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The big highlights of the trailer are the return of Sazh with his son and Fang fighting together with Lightning in combat. It is explained in the trailer by Sazh, that his son has lost his soul, so he is unable to wake up. Likely, Lightning will be tasked with helping Sazh find his son's soul. What has been explained as a solo experience with no party members, Fang's appearance in combat is a surprise. It's likely she is a guest character to help Lightning at different parts of the game.

There is also more shown from Lightning and Snow's battle with some implications that Lightning might have the choice of saving or killing Snow. A moogle village is also revealed with the Lightning helping them survive an attack. It is likely the village is going to be found in the Wildlands.

I was mad at the lack of Sazh in FFXIII-2 but Sazh is the best fighter in XIII!

I was more of a Fang user, though I'm pretty sure I have Sazh in my final party because I think he was a good Saboteur if I remember right. It's been a while since FFXIII.
